man... i made the mistake of driving through NYC Dec.31.
Since they close the roads, EVERYONE is in a rush to either get out or come in. I was in the same spot for about 4 hours.

Maybe, but that time around LoL when I took your Magnum to get gas and got that ****** sideways through an intersection and pulling a 180 to get into a gas station parking lot in one fluid motion was about the best thing ever and made me love narrow intersections

I love Toronto but I feel that it could be so much better. It's not living up to it's true potential and I don't see it happening any time soon.

Agree with pretty much everything you've said here.
Vancouver is such a BEAUTIFUL city - I have some T.O friends who moved there last year and are loving it.
For me, nothing beats the vibe, nightlife and friendships made in Toronto. I have nothing but the best memories!
I have yet to conquer Montreal though

What the heck is with all these Toronto hating threads lately?! I love Toronto. All you complainers should stick to one thread! Hhaa
I think its different if you live out of TO and just come here to party and have a good time. TO is definitely a good place to do that. But living here you're exposed to more annoyances than you would be by just visiting

I'm definatly not gonna disagree with you there. But even though I come to Toronto to party a lot...that's not all that I do. In the past 4 years I've spent so many weekends in Toronto, 3...4...5...days at a time, driving around all over the city or just doing whatever. So it's not like I just come to Toronto, get off the Gardiner, go to the Guv and then leave when I'm done. I basically feel like Toronto if my second home.
But I do understand what you're saying.

For all you that hate roads in Toronto or Ontario....just go take a drive over the bridge to Detroit, or anywhere in Michigan....
once u do that, u will learn to appreciate the roads here....
i dont know any part of the 401 that has 3foot wide and 1 foot deep holes in it....however just take a drive on the i-75 i-96 i-94....its not a good feeling when u hit a 1 foot deep pot hole going 130km/h...

Very good point. If you're complaining about pot holes and road work...Detroit is terrible for that.

I just drove all the way from 427&401 to mississauga road & Dundas using Englinton at 4:30pm in 30 minutes. Considering the distance, that's not bad. Sauga doesn't have that much traffic.
