The earned vs. given thing rears it's head again. My respect for 2/3 of the mods will be restored once they have demonstrated that they can be relied upon to consistantly exercise good judgement. Until that time only one mod will have any influance over me as the other two are on the cusp of people I deem fitting of permanent censure.

Aren't those forum wide though (i.e. banned from TA as a whole and not just c0r)?

There are cases where particular users can be banned from posting in a particular subforum on the website, however I can't off-hand quote any instances in which this has actually been put into practice.
