It would be cruel to continue the mocking so I'm just to write here to wish you good luck in the night of the proposal. Doing it at a public place is a good recipe for disaster, some would say.

What matters here is what you feel is best. If you want to interrupt a set, which will probably be sucking anyway, to declare your love for a person that you want to spend the rest of your life with, then don't look back. Sure you'll have the obvious number of observers wanting anxiously for her to say no so they can have a good laugh. It's expected. Don't let that hold you back.

At the end of the night, clubbers will remember you for one reason or another. Let's just hope it isn't for crying behind the decks indefinitely.

we've actually been living together for about 3 years now.

and no, we don't plan on getting married right away, we do want to wait a couple years
