Thats fine if he was exhausted from touring or whatever and wanted a rest..but a little more than 2-3 hour notice would've been appreciated!

Does anyone know when the Guv first heard about BT not showing? I'm sure they let everyone know as late as possible...

If I would've known he wasn't coming, I would've thought twice about going, or maybe heading somewhere else.

considering that BT didn't play in Detroit the night before, I imagine that Guv knew.

perhaps.. but i can garauntee that if they found out it was less then 24 hours notice.

cancellations happen from time to time.. but kinda crappy to cancel with no explanation, with even a few days notice, after so many thousands of dollars are put into promoting you. but either way... it's been done.. what can ya do.

it's a shame to.. cause he was supposed to be doing a REAL live set and not just playing a premixed set off a laptop like he's done before.

I can understand why the Guv wouldn't release any info as i'm sure they would've lost enough business that night if it was know that BT wasn't a show. The place was PACKED...

But it was worse then normal. Especially throughout the entire night. It was packed right till they closed! I guess everyone wanted to get their money's worth haha..

And if they knew but didnt state so when they found out (ie. NOT wait utnil the NIGHT OFF and just post some signs on the wall around 9 or 10pm), thats fucking WEAK in my opinion of Guvy!

That's what I'm thinking is what happened...I hope BT actually releases a statement on his website or forum so can actually know what happened.
