Hey just wondering where do you guys buy your CD's. I went to radio shack, and they are pretty expensive there. Is there a site where I can buy a bunch of blank CD's in bulk? Also once I get said CD's how did you guys make your mind on how many tracks to burn per CD? I really cant decided, because im thinking about just sorting all my songs alphabetically and then just buring them, but then once i guy new songs they are all thrown out of whack =P so gimme ideas please

- burning 10 tracks on a cd twice was not a decision but a necessity because I buy a lot of music and have little time. also, i would rather spend my money on new tracks and not cds...
- i buy cds wherever I can - best buy, radio shack, wal-mart. i always just buy blank white cds. If there is an online source for these in bulk i would also like to know. (PS I am considering switching to CDRW and constantly changing the tracks on my cds - do they work as well as normal CDRs?)
- i dont see the problem with burning tracks as you get them in clumps because it represents what you are into at a given time. this works well for me because i remember the sounds i was into as I go through my binder and I know how the tracks will be on each cd

I have a 200 capacity storage binder from Vaultz that I keep my free tracks and purchased tracks in. I managed to fit extra pages and have more than 200 CD's in the case. It also has combo locks so that you can lock your shit up after you are done playing.
And I also carry a 24 capacity UDG CD Wallet which holds CDs containing the most recently purchased tracks. My UDG wallet fits inside the Vaultz binder too!!!
I organize my CD's in 2 categories....FREE and PURCHASED. I fit as many tracks as possible per CD and in the order that I acquired the tracks. I have the FREE cds in the front of the binder and the PURCHASED cds in the back of the binder, and all the new PURCHASED cds in the cd wallet. I usually only play recent shit anyway so it is convenient to flip through the little wallet right up there on the decks. When I need an older track or whatever, I dig through the binder and I have a pretty good memory so I know where everything is at.
I also print directly onto my CDs the full tracklistings. My epson printer kicks ass. Word.
I replaced the Vaultz binder with this 260+ capacity cd binder from UDG:
The 24-capacity cd wallet fits inside the big UDG binder. The only downside to the big binder is the pages dont come out so you cant move pages around.

A tutorial would be great! I've never tried cd-printing but looking at your cds, I am curious. So please share your secret
Also, could you list the stuff you need for doing this? (any specific printer type, label maker program, etc.)
Thanks
They sell all the top brands too (Ritek,Taiyo Yuden(sp) )

with most new cd players it shouldn't be a problem!
with my 2 cdj200s they work just as normal cdr's
i think with older players they don't work...if you always play on newer gear this should be a problem then!
