nope, if i didn't like ATB, my comment would be something like this:

i don't like his music but i see that there are alot of those who do so there must be SOMETHING there but i just can't see it, i think his music is bad because... (insert comment)

and that's it, there's no need for bashing, not ATB and not any artist, again...it's all a matter of personal preference
and btw. i don't see the need for bashing cyrex007 too, he like the rest of us came here to state an opinion, what difference does it make when he registered...i believe we were all listening to music before we registered here

i think personally that atb would be better off trying to produce under a different name although atb is really short for his real name.
if he produced stuff under a different name then maybe the reputation of his comercial stuff from the past wouldnt prevent people from viewing his new stuff as they do

ATB was the first dj that really got me into electronica back when i was 15 years old, when he released Movin Melodies, and i have still been listening to him since. Unfortunetly i have not yet have had the privilege to see him play live but one day i will.

ATB's productions are not meant for ASOT etc. His productions are more for the going to the beach and relaxing as the sun sets over the ocean/etc. If you can't respect him as a dj in that sense, then your really in the wrong forum because no one should deserves to getting bashed like that.. I can just see the original people here who would bash a dj like that. What do you have that he doesn;t have? I'm sure not much by the looks of it.

I see ATB as more of a producer then a person who would play music at a club. To be honest i've been listening mostly to Armin Van Buuren for the past 2.5 years, but i'll never forget my first hero! Still though, i don;t want to hear you people bashing about ATB. He's in the top 20 dj list in the world and was in the top 10 back in 2005. That must mean something..
If you consider dj sammy and atb on the same level then something must be wrong with you! Thats all i have to say. But everyone is entitled to there own opinion i guess.

Andre, if your reading this, i can't wait for the Trilogy.. I've already seen your video for Renegade, and from the looks of it, im getting pretty excited to hear your new work give me goosebumps all over!

If you aren't allowed to bash music, neither are you allowed to praise it.

ATB should do his ambient/downtempo/chill tracks under a different alias and release albums full of that. I actually think he does some pretty good chill out stuff...the chill CD on "Two Worlds" is excellent, and the track "Circular Symetry" as I probably already noted in this thread. Sounds a little different (and better) than his typical uplifting-trance/euro-dance type stuff.

But sometimes it's just easyer just to believe in the things some people post here.

BTW. I can't tell you what tracks this are in the samples...never heard it before!

..and now go on! It's intersting! ;o)

You are an APPALLING DJ - Not even fit for a local pub. Whether that is you in the sample or not is irrelevant to me. And I say this because I have had the unfortunate pleasure of hearing you with my own ears, and what I have heard is just as atrocious; if not worse. You are shit, and you represent everything I hate about the scene that I love.

Oh hold on a minute. You produced 9PM (Till I Come) didn't ya? I take it back, you must be an amazing DJ.

I like some of your tracks ATB as a producer, and I think your competent at it, esp your more chilled stuff. But I don't think the DJing is for you. I haven't been to your live shows, and I have heard a few sets, but when I buy a mixed CD, I expect at least competent mixing. Now mixing live isn't as big of a deal, cause people aren't going to analyze your mixing but they will with a mixed CD or recorded radio show. The kind of mixing on your CDs and some sets you've recorded like on your website, are more suited for amateurs who are just getting their feet wet, trying to learn. Those who may post on a forum like TA's DJ Promotion area.

If that's what the CDs you've released represent, someone who doesn't know that much about EQing, beatmixing and beatmatching and just flow of tracks, then that's fine. But paying what 17.99 to 19.99 (here in the US) for a mixed CD that has really amateur mixing, is disapointing. It's really the type of CD where your better off just doing quick radio cuts throughout than attempting to beatmix. It's esp disapointing for those fans who actually think your a somewhat competent producer. But I think it would be nice to diversify yourself, perhaps really delve into chill and downtempo stuff for a while. Like i've said in my previous post, "Circular Symetry" is amazing and definitely shows you have some talent in that field.
