Ok. Wow. I am having a really difficult time coming up with the words to rebuttal these comments.
First and foremost, what is a party to you?
People who can’t go to appreciate the music that is being played is what’s wrong with the electronic music scene.

And where does that DJ get their music from to make that party better for you?
For the most part, with the exception of some of their own songs, it is usually other people’s music. Can you explain when this has changed over the years? How many DJs out there actually will play an entire set with all of their own productions? It may happen sometimes, but not very often. If there was not someone who was creating the music for the DJs to play, where would they be? If the DJ is spending all their time playing for the crowds, when will they have time to sit in a studio and produce all the tracks they need to for their sets.
As for Digweed failing to do his job, this is your opinion, but I will ask again, What does a party mean to you? John Digweed may not play the type and style of music that you enjoy listening to, and that is fair enough, everyone enjoys their own style of music. But to come right out and say that his music is pretentious, I don’t understand how this comment can be justified. If you didn’t like the party, leave. You knew John was playing, why did you come?

Complete disrespect.
And I’m not saying this because it’s Digweed and I am a fan, I would say this for any DJ, performer, or ANYONE for that matter that was doing the job that they were paid to do.
