When I get the story, i just say "Hah that sucks" and just leave.

Other people's lives are NOT my problem. I didnt put them in whatever situation they are in. They did it themselves...so i couldn't care less about their problems.

Of course i care about other people. What i am saying is that, i could care less about a bathroom attendant telling me their sappy story about why they are there, just to get money out of me.
