I just wanted to say a big F*ck you to those who are saying this is shit just because its made to dance in the club and nothing else. We need music like this in the dance scene just as much as we need the more "intelligent" stuff.
Dance music is often made for the clubs and there's nothing wrong with that. Those of you who stay at home and just listen to albums and downloads, thats fine but remember many of us also go clubbing. Thats what dance music is all about, its why we have DJ's like Paul Van Dyk.
Some EDM will sound great at home but would be awful at the club. Likewise tunes like this dropped at the right time in a set will go down a treat but will sound simple and plain at home.
If you don't like it, thats fine but don't say its shit just because its made for people to dance to...

I'm not swallowing anything.. I've been loudly slating PVD for the past four years for his new material, but I like this track so I'm going to support it. I don't give a fuck who made the track- big name, small name, respected or not. If I like it, I like it.

Comments would be "Ian van Dahl has decided to drop the cheesey euro-pop and create some equally stupid cheesey hard-technoy-trance or whatever". Yes, it is amazing how aesthetically biased can you be towards things...especially for those things that you hold a certain attitude.
it's true a thread may not have been created for it, but given that it's by someone of pvd's stature then the thread would have inevitably been created regardless of what people thought of it (see the 'white lies' topic)
as for people's opinons being different? complete bollocks. sure the fact it's pvd might make people pay more attention to it, & therefore form a more solid view than they otherwise would have (good or bad), but it's still a piece of music at the end of the day and knowing who's behind it doesn't change how people's ears interpret it
you're coming across as even more narrow minded than those you appear to be slating.. incapable of accepting that those who disagree with you merely seek different qualities in dance music and AREN'T infact fanboys who'll lap up anything
