What i really can't stand is that full-on D'n'B with the fart-like basslines and stuff lol. Stuff like Tech-step etc. But anyway its up to everyone's taste i guess. And yes full-on Psy is equally-if-not more- disturbing sound IMO.

You're talking about liquid funk (those samples) and atmospheric d'n'b (LTJ Bukem).

See, everyone has it's own taste. While liquid funk and atmospheric d'n'b fit your taste better than techstep, it's techstep that fits my taste perfectly.

Examples:

Ed Rush & Optical & Fierce - Alien Girl
Noisia - Facade
Noisia - Monster
Noisia & Mayhem - Choke (feat. MC Verse)
Black Sun Empire - Boris The Blade (Optiv Remix)
Jade & Matt U - Got Lost
Skynet - Night Raiders
Chris.Su & Raw.Full - Panorama
Black Sun Empire - Bitemark
Black Sun Empire - Future Frame
Bad Company - The Nine
Cause 4 Concern - Gas Chamber
Corrupt Souls - Skullfucked
Phace - Now!
Phace - Vitamin P

OMG, I can't even imagine a set featuring this kind of music from start to finish. True torture! I kinda liked "night raiders"...and black sun empire sounds like full-on...Trance-Step! Yeah i don't think i'll ever go in a tech-step night or listen to this kind of music at home. Maybe this kind of thing is good at some very underground night club, maybe going out for it once in a month, but i can't see how someone can stand this menace for longer! As you said though, everyone has his/her own taste and if you like that kind of industrialish, hellish, full-on, druggy,my-brain-is-burning-thing fair-enough then!

How about some slow and nice 80s industrial like Throbbing Gristle and Einsturzende Neubauten?!?

Don't forget K - Transmission. Those ultra sped-up amen breaks that appear and disappear quickly enough to keep you on edge... it always gets me going.

Your reply is just the way I expected it to be. But it's okay. I thought you'd like at least Bitemark and Future Frame, mainly because they have obvious melody. Yeah, you could call it trancestep, but Black Sun Empire produces mostly neurofunk.

@stevieboy

i don't know i just can't get into cumbia. it doesn't have the passion and vigor of salsa (absolutely love dancing salsa) nor the comforting sadness of bachata or the sensuality of tango

Why cus they're so deep and meaningful?

Listening to Pink Floyd is like smoking weed with Ben Stein.

I don't understand all the slagging dnb/jungle is getting. There really is versatility in those genres, genuine good producers and djs. Everything from high energy to laid back and lounge. It definitely isn't my favorite, but I do rather like it.

Most people aren't slagging it, it just doesn't seem to appeal to them. I think it has more to do with the kind of people that comprise the community here on TA than the merits of the genre.

I seem to like something in every genre but I admit when I first heard grime/garbage/dubstep (whatever it's called) it made me squinch and the only reason I kept listening is because people I liked were mixing. If it was people I don't know, I would have stopped listening. So what's weird is the more you listen to something you don't like, the more you eventually find the beauty in it.
