4. why do DJs nowadays feel the need to do "live PA"? you're not a performer, just play the fucking set and make us dance. besides, most live PAs sound like shit and off-key. i blame Tiesto for starting the trend.

I like that one episode where Armin played this instrumental track that had like these melodies, and they would like build up along with these killer beats until all of a sudden the beat would disappear. You then felt like you were floating in space, as if time stopped and this sweeping lush melody comes in and gives you a rush. Wowsers, I wept so hard

Oh yeah, then there was this one time I heard on ASOT this Tune that started all pesudo-progressive, then the voice of some suburban white girl chick in her mid 20s was heard. She was talking about getting a rush or a rash coming in, something about digging deeper, or was it that song with some lost emotion and some angel on a suburban train? Damn man that was so beautiful and inspiring. That really surprised the hell out of me as you NEVER hear these kinds of songs nowadays in Trance sets.



Sorry Armin I like listening to ASOT sometimes, and Tiesto's Club Life, and Ferry's Countdown, and Above & Beyond's Trance around the world, and Judge Jules, and Matt Darey, and Paul Van Dyk's 6 different weekly/monthly shows, and all you other superstar Trance cats, but you guys all know what I'm talking about. I think it's time to step it up a bit.
