i honestly don't understand why most people seem to think relationships are harder than being single/dating.

i guess if you aren't dating, then yea, it's true. but i hate dating and always having to look perfect, or think about when you should or shouldn't call bla bla bla. screw that. i prefer my buddy/boyfriend every day with steady sex and boring friday blockbuster nights.

no confusion, you know where you stand. what's so hard about that?

hahah one time my ex was putting laundry away while i sat on the bed making fun of him for it (he didn't mind, he laughed at himself) and then i threw a pair of my capri shorts at him and demanded that he put them on and he did. he could barely get them past his knees but i was fucking dying laughing. then i went to grab the digital camera and he was like, "AHAH FUCK THAT" and tried to take them off in a hurry and almost fell.

i agree...but some have that fear of being alone that will lead them to say anything you want to hear to be with you. The act never lasts.

see that sounds wonderful... it's all the stupidity that we've all experienced that makes us skittish around the relationship word. i've been through some ridiculous situations and i'll admit i don't really have time for any drama-ness. I would love to get to the curl up in scrubs and watch tv point, after marathon sex. It's just hard getting there.

I know when you find the right person, there shouldn't be any effort. It should be so frikken easy that you ask yourself "Damn this is way too easy, WTF?"... Its just hard to find someone who is at the same place as you. Maybe that's the making it work, effort thing people keep talking about.

Relationships have become second nature to me over the years. I've bounced back between relationships and shag-a-night phases, and I'd still prefer to be a in a relationship any day of the week.

I guess i like being that committed to someone, and when you find the right person, it's perfection.
