Del...there is no way you were there...cuz I didn't see you and it really wasn't that packed at all.
Anyways...the music was great...the vibe was right
All-an-all...good times! and a great weekend
No matter what others say...Trance (classics) is still too good to dismiss

How many of you guys caught the drunken fight that broke out in the back section of the Guv dancefloor? There appeared to be two sets of fighters, one of which looked like they were trying a UFC style ground fight.
I was suprised how long it took security took to break it up. It had to be obvious given the massive circle that opened up in the middle of the dance floor, but the fight went on for more than a minute.
As for the music, I admit that I thought there would be more trance earlier on, but the trance tunes came on around 2am, and I like house so the earlier stuff wasn't a big deal.
I also liked the new renovations. The light wall was cool, and I endjoyed the bursts of cool air being pumped out to the beat of the songs.

Silly attitudes towards music like demonstrated by certain individuals in this thread (and i say certain...) is exactly why I don't even bother writing longer than a paragraph anymore.
Mark was sensational...he pretty much always is. The highlight of this night was not any one song in particular but seeing faces around me that have defined the last 5 years.
The CD is top notch...the night was top notch!
Well done Mark.
the only downer was not having Lauren by my side for "Child of the Universe" and "Seven Cities". The remix btw is the one off the CD.
first of all Kudos to MO for playing some of the most amazing classics.....I deliberately came at 2 bc I knew he would warm up with a housey set which is fine guys REMEMBER T.O IS A FUCKIN HOUSE CITY and MO is Guvs resident DJ he can play whatever the fuck he wants....You have to find a trance night in T.O nowdays and when you do you just show up at the right time like I did and enjoy it
my ladies love you all to pieces....honestly we have mastered the art to deal with the guvy crowd...
Overall I had a blast like Chris mentioned MO delivered an amazing trance set
and I have to say Danielle you have made MO close his set with that track atleast 10 times now I am not even joking....the song must be retired
Cheers to that ^^^!!!!!!
and the track was for Jamie I told you that (it's now retired ). But I now wish I didn't ask then he probably woulda played For an Angel
I love old school Mark- Saturday brought back so many memories

I've heard a couple of stories from Saturday night that a certain individual was harassing some of my female friends. The girls asked him to stop several times, and he refused. He would even go so far as physically grabbing the girls legs etc. When these girls told security, the security officer said that there wasn't much he could do because the individual in question promotes at the Guvernment. The individual kept up this behaviuor for the rest of the night.
This is unacceptable. The function of security in a club is to provide exactly that: security, to its patrons. I hope that management at The Guvernment knows that this kind of stuff is taking place. Having a staff member harassing their paying patrons isn't very good for business.

It was BAD, REALLY BAD!
I saw him harass, REPEATEDLY, 4 friends off and on over most of the second half of the night. BRUTAL.
He'd be told to get away or not touch them, then he'd disappear, but only to resurface again and repeat the entire behavior again like nothing had happened before. It was horrible, I felt so bad for them.
Me and Baki had to many times block and get in the way to prevent him from approaching them.
I couldn't believe this intense, big dude. Worst I've ever witnessed myself personally at Guv. Seriously. Total damper on the night, having to worry and deal w/ this guy.
What Graham said about the bouncer saying he couldn't/wouldnt do anything about it is 100% true too... heard right right her soon after she asked the bouncer to deal w/ this persistent, continuing situation.
