Are you prepared for another trip to bat country? Back again to remind you that the hills do indeed have eyes, the goodly folks at Hardware and KillRockStar have rallied a wild array of international talent for the second annual Ultraworld Festival. The old castle courtyard and mist covered hills provide an enchanting setting for one of Australia’s most unique and exciting dates on the festival calendar!

The hallowed walls of the great castle are set to once again resonate with the sound of music as this year Ultraworld returns to its roots with a stellar line-up of international trance and techno superstars! The REAL hillsong is this year provided by a select pocket of superstar international talent spearheaded by the number one deejay on the planet- Paul van Dyk and ably supported by the likes of Yoji Biomehanika, John 00 Flemming, Adam Beyer and a global cast of fresh talent.

Furthermore, combining the enchanting castle setting with full camping facilities, mammoth production and the best local and international lineup to date, come and dance away the hot summers night under the moon and stars. So, to the thousands in attendance we say this: lets get ready to rumble!!!

And without further ado...

Paul van Dyk (Vandit, GER)
Grammy nominated artist and globally acclaimed DJ and Producer Paul van Dyk continues to dominate the electronic music charts and appears at the pinnacle of every Top DJ list across the globe. PvD is currently ranked the World’s No. 1 DJ by DJ Magazine’s “Top 100 DJs poll” for the second consecutive year. His new original album In Between is in stores now and features collaborations with David Byrne and Jessica Sutta of the Pussycat Dolls. Paul has left an indelible fingerprint on the global trance scene with timeless classics such as For An Angel, his collaboration with BT- Flaming June and remixes such as Humate- Love Stimulation and Binary Finary’s 1998!
www.paulvandyk.com

Yoji Biomehanika (Hellhouse, JAP)
If any proof were needed that electronic dance music has become a truly international phenomenon it is the success of Japanese DJ, producer and larger than life personality, Yoji Biomehanika. Yoji has achieved rock star status in his own country and across the globe with his inimitable brand of driving tech trance and his eternally effervescent stage presence. As dance music’s answer to Madonna- Yoji continues to reinvent his sound and image as his fame and celebrity continue to grow unabated as he headlines festivals such as Dance Valley, Sensation and Gods Kitchen’s Global Gathering.

Hallucinogen / Shpongle (UK)
Hallucinogen aka Simon Posford is a pioneer of electronic music and founder of the psy-trance scene. With the release of his first album, "Twisted", which reached Number 27 in the French album charts, a genre was born. There are many words to describe modern electronic music but none that come close to the wealth of emotion and experience that comes from listening to a Posford tune.

These days he is just as likely to be entrancing crowds around the globe with a throbbingly epic live set as he is to be dribbling ambient delectations in the Hallucinogen Soundlabs in the West Country. He is co-director of Twisted Records with Simon Holton, ex-label manager of Dragonfly Records. Hallucinogen's second album "The Lone Deranger" blew the lid off the musical scene that had built up around his influence. Not only did it have more of the killer musical riffs but also was a feat of clean production and professionalism previously seen with the likes of The Floyd, one of Simon's major influences.

Adam Beyer (Drumcode, SWE)
Adam Beyer has become synonymous with the techno sound of Sweden, which has quite literally shaken the world since the mid-nineties. From the driving percussive force of his Drumcode label to the releases on his current Truesoul and Mad Eye imprints, Beyer has gfone from strength to strength and remains one of the biggest and most influential producer/DJs on the planet.

John 00 Fleming (UK)
Few people can claim to have been at the pinnacle of their profession for a sustained period of time, having enjoyed so much success and still be leading the way forward. John 00 Fleming, one of the dance music industries most revered personalities, is amongst a small band of people who can say they were responsible for igniting the spark of the scene we all know and love today. As one of the originators of the trance sound as we know it today John’s productions on the legendary React label set the world ablaze- especially the iconic release Lost In Emotion. Today John continues to push the boundaries in new directions thanks largely to his new found love for psy-trance and his collaborations with the likes of Wizzy Noise.

Remo Con (Hellhouse/Anjunabeats, JAP)
Japan's long time hidden treasure Remo-Con is finally ready to spread his wings globally. Already labelled as one of the most sought after DJ's and Producers in Japan, Remo-Con has also exploded onto the international stage. His mammoth releases such as Cold Front on Above & Beyond’s Anjunabeats imprint and instant anthems Streams, G-Sigh and Atavism on Hellhouse, have launched Remo Con onto the global stage! A star on the rise!
www.myspace.com/remocon

Walt Jenssen (Carnal, NLD)
Once upon a time most famous for his productions as Walt & Feliz (Bring The Pain & Expansion), over recent years Walt has stepped up to the plate and become a superstar in his own right! As part of the Dutch techtrance mafia Walt is the the mastermind behind some of the biggest smash hits on the techtrance scene including; Bring The Pain, Let The Music Play and Ctrl / Walt / Del. Unbeknownst to many Walt is the production genius behind projects such as Marcel Woods and Alex Fakey!

Joel Mull (Drumcode, SWE)
More than 3 years since his last visit to Melbourne alongside fellow Stockholm native Adam Beyer, Joel Mull has had the local techno community pining for his return. With a constant flow of seriously quality releases on a veritable who’s who of labels, Joel’s live and DJ performances around the globe have earnt him a place amongst the stalwarts of modern techno.
www.myspace.com/joelmull

Chris Liberator (Stay Up Forever, UK)
Born out of the London punk rock scene Chris Liberator was one of the founding fathers of London’s acid techno underground. Besides his prolific work for Stay Up Forever plus Smitten, Routemaster, Boscaland, Bionic Orange, Hydraulix and Cluster under a range of different monikers [including work with Guy ‘Geezer’ McAffer, D.A.V.E. The Drummer, D.D.R, Rowland The Bastard, Lawrie Immersion and John Truelove] Chris has played all across the globe, even being the first western DJ to work in the former iron curtain states of the once USSR. As well as being co-owner of Stay Up Forever, Chris runs his own techno labels Maximum:Minimum and WahWah plus tech-house label Yolk. Techno purists suck on this!
