When I was at Expo East in Baltimore last week I saw plenty of Amish chicks, some were pretty cute actually. Like innocent cute. I felt like I was looking through a time hole to see what chicks used to look like 400 years ago.

FYI, the whole shunning thing is rare; however, Amish and Old Order Mennonites are usually very reserved and cautious around outsiders. They will allow limited contact but those that leave are never really members of the community again.

edit... you do realize this is an international religion, right... it started in Germany. You'll find Mennonites in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Canada, USA, and Mexico.
