Oh well, I had Mr. Nick Warren to keep me company at work last night, as I was pumping out his September Mixology set, which included Mat Zo's awesome bootleg remix of "Motion Picture".

(perdy sure most everyone will be @ 1015 tonight cuz of michelle forcing everyone to celebrate her birthday allll weeekend )
and p.s...johnnys new name...beavermau5 (they soooo look alike) lol
Ableton might be a cheap ass way to DJ, but if you know how to phrase match well and learn how to use effects, you can provide an different experience.
I'm about to tell Taj I'm ready, but my laptop is dying (past the point of worrying about learning the mixer) and it just randomly freezes! Waiting for my new Intel Core 2 Duo 2.6ghz MacBook Pro w/ 4GB of RAM first!!...
Thanks to work!
And then I'll be a bitch and use Ableton on Windows on a Mac, lol.

Seriously!! I had to stare at him like 5 times to figure out that it wasn't John walking past me, lol.
I had an awesome night. The music was frikkin' sick! I danced crazy the whole time even being tired(Coming from a melodic/anthem trance snob). Wow, 4 new venues for me in two nights! Crazy. I'm glad I got to see you Spundae peeps. I had missed you. :] So ya I'm tired and am probably going to skip out tonight.
See you next week!

True- although the criticism that everything comes together a little 'too' well with Ableton may very well be legitimate (depending upon who you ask), it can provide a remarkable level of integration that makes for a much more involved set-experience.
I'm still sticking with my CDJ's, but credit where credit is due.
By the way, I don't think I've ever met any of you at any point (seeing as I've wound up only going out on a bi-annual basis), but hope to run across you at some point next year- so yeah, this is my little introduction.

Thanks to everyone who came out. The Spundae & Satellite events at Mighty seem to be a great formula and I hope we can do more down the road. I enjoyed this show and music even more than the LoveLee Party earlier this year.
