The gap between the first and the second place right now is exactly 2 points. It's not over 'til it's over...

And that is that.
For a while there it looked like benjamin would be left to #2 yet again as paulandrews made a really great effort but it just wasn't enough as benjamin's last minute updates made him the clear winner. Well done.

...and here's the "D'oh, how'd I miss THAT?!" part:

01. Fatboy Slim - Weapon Of Choice (Junkie XL Remix) (ID's: 10)
That sample in the beginning should ring bells for anyone who's ever heard the original.

02. Kate Bush vs. Infusion - Running Up That Hill (ID's: 10)
One of the greatest tracks ever, both the original and this mix.

03. Kota - Waiting (Darren Tate vs. Mike Koglin Mix) (ID's: 8)
Some random generic trance for you. This one got the most "ARGH! I know this but what the hell is it?!"-replies.

04. Conjure One - Centre Of The Sun (Pete Lorimer 29 Palms Remix) (ID's: 2)
Not seen many play this, I guess people preferred the Junkie XL mix over this.

05. Flutlicht - The Fall (Deep Fall Mix) (ID's: 4)
Quite honestly I'm a bit surprised this got so few ID's. Most people seemed to think it was Icarus.

06. Dumonde vs. Lange - Memory (Lange Dub) (ID's: 4)
Cut just before the vocal kicks in which made it tricky. Still, I was expecting more ID's.

07. Desiderio - Starlight (Ferry Corsten Remix) (ID's: 5)
Can't mistake that classic Ferry sound for anything else. But getting the track right seemed to be surprisingly hard.
I think skip's "Ferry Corsten - Ferry Corsten (Ferry Corsten Remix)" sums it up pretty well

08. Fire & Ice feat. Edvika - Close To Me (DJ Fire's Sunset Mix) phant0m unique!
Another one that's tough to ID without the vocals. Many seemed to think this was Nalin & Kane.

09. M.I.K.E. - The Running Night benjamin unique!
The obligatory MIKE track.

10. Sarah McLachlan - Fallen (Satoshi Tomiie Interpretation) (ID's: 11)
G&D's mix was the popular one but you seemed to know this pretty well too.

11. DJ Tiësto - 643 (Love's On Fire) (Oliver Lieb Instrumental) (ID's: 6)
One of the tracks that didn't have a single ID before I posted the hints.

12. Apollo Four Forty - The Machine In The Ghost (ID's: 4)
See above. Lovely downbeat number, this.

13. Black Sabbath - Changes (ID's: 5)
Yeah yeah, it's Ozzy Osbourne singing but I was looking for the band!

14. Chicane - Lost You Somewhere (Heliotropic Mix) (ID's: 9)
Classic Chicane.

15. Beastie Boys - Girls (ID's: 14)
There was a time when we used to play this on an endless loop at school's computers, mainly because it was the only mp3 on them

16. Slusnik Luna vs. Lowland - Baas (ID's: 2)
For some reason many seemed to think this was the obligatory MIKE track. What's up with that?

17. Ashtrax - Freeload (Freelove) (ID's: 5)
It seems like the newer tracks were the hardest for you guys. I wonder what that is a sign of...

18. Eelke Kleijn - Symphonia Part 1 (ID's: 2)
A fantastic deep monster from the Naturally Artificial album. Check it out.

19. Miika Kuisma & Olli S - Awakening (Noel Sanger Remix) Quethas unique!
I'm guessing the original would had gotten more ID's but that's exactly why I didn't use it

20. LSG - Netherworld (Incolumis Remix) (ID's: 4)
This had the biggest number of partial ID's - most of you could ID the hint of the main melody but the mix... the mix...

21. Mike Robbins - Are You A Freak? (Marcel Woods Techtrance Mix) (ID's: 6)
Woods does what Woods knows.

22. The Beatles - Strawberry Fields Forever (ID's: 16)
The most ID'd track on this comp and quite rightfully so.

23. Depeche Mode - Walking In My Shoes (ID's: 4)
Ha! I bet 95% of you would had known this if I'd had any of the vocals in.

24. Nieminen & Litmanen - Leo Jokela Rides Again (ID's: 3)
I was pretty sure nobody was going to get this, even with the hints. Good job.

25. Mirco De Govia - Epic Monolith (Sonorous' Epic Dub) (ID's: 4)
So epic it had to be included in the title twice!

26. Lunatic Calm - Liberation Radio paulandrews unique!
These guys are probably better known for their uptempo breaks/big beat stuff, but they've done some great downtempo stuff too.
You might know the other half better as Elite Force.

27. Massive Attack - Safe From Harm (ID's: 8)
I'm guessing some other track uses the same lyrics since a lot of you guessed that at first.

28. Dylan Rhymes - New Sun (ID's: 3)
C'mon, I practically gave it away in the hints...

29. BT & Paul van Dyk - Namasté (ID's: 8)
Yes, it's written like that on my CD

30. Armin van Buuren - Astronauts (ID's: 3)
Now this was a big surprise for me... only 3 ID's? This was one of the standout tracks on his otherwise mediocre debut album for me.

31. Juliet - Ride The Pain (ID's: 9)
You probably know her from Avalon but she's done an album full of great tracks as well.

32. Led Zeppelin - The Rain Song (ID's: 2)
Oh my oh my... they've done other tracks that Stairway to Heaven, you know...

33. Moogwai - 5 Wishes & More (ID's: 4)
Great dark-ish trancer from the album with the same name.

34. Junkie XL - Mulu GroundLine unique!
Probably my personal favourite of JXL's - none of that dull prog he does today. Contains one of the best basslines ever.

35. Ramones - Pinhead (ID's: 4)
Gabba gabba hey? All right then...

36. Propellerheads - Bigger? (ID's: 14)
Almost the most ID'd track, which I found a bit surprising.

37. Scott Bond vs. Solarstone - The Red Line Highway (ID's: 7)
This track is a bit too long for the amount of elements it has but I like it nevertheless.

38. Signum feat. Anita Kelsey - Come Around Again (Instrumental) (ID's: 5)
Signum aren't quite what they used to be but this is quite nice.

39. Witness Of Wonder - Emotion In Motion (ID's: 8)
More generic trancy stuff for you. This sounds quite raw and unpolished and I guess that's why I like it.

40. Jääportit - Pois Muodot Huuhtoo (ID's: 4)
Quality finnish ambient. Take a listen at http://www.jaaportit.net/

41. Stephen J Kroos - Elecktronick (ID's: 4)
Acid breaks, yeah! Stephen's album was one of the best I heard in 2007.

42. Roland Klinkenberg - Filament Glow (ID's: 2)
A quirky breaksy thing from his Mexico Can Wait album.

43. Jakatta feat. Seal - My Vision (ID's: 12)
Some stuff most people should had known... and most did.

44. First State - Reach Me Quethas unique!
Again, new stuff and just one ID. This didn't even get any partial ID's other than from Quethas.

45. Hydra - Affinity (Backbeat Mix) (ID's: 3)
This would had been really, really easy if I'd just left the main melody in...

46. Rah - Seven (ID's: 5)
One of Airbase's many aliases.

47. Megadeth - A Tout Le Monde (ID's: 14)
Not really a fan of Megadeth personally but this one I like.

48. John Digweed - Gridlock (Digweed & Muir's Stereo Club Mix) (ID's: 4)
It just goes on and on and on and on and on...

49. Katana - Dulce Vita (ID's: 5)
Trademark Katana sound, surprisingly few ID's.

50. Meshuggah - War (ID's: 5)
Yeah, can't blame you for not getting this one, though maybe I made the hint a tad too easy. These things keep appearing to my HD whenever my friends are visiting...

51. Fergie - Bass Generator (Robbie Rivera's Big Room Vocal Mix) (ID's: 3)
This track is so stupid you just can't hate it.

52. Jean-Michel Jarre - Hey Gagarin (ID's: 3)
The more recent Jarre doesn't seem to be as well known as his classic works.

53. Yello - Cyclops (ID's: 5)
This swiss duo is a bit of a hit & miss but sometimes they do get it right. Fantastic dark soundscapes.

54. Underworld - Crocodile (ID's: 7)
Another track I had to include because of the bassline.

55. LoStep - Because We Can (ID's: 3)
You want farty basslines? You got 'em!

56. Kai Tracid - 4 Just 1 Day (Energy Mix) (ID's: 8)
Kai loves that vintage synth sound... a bit too much.

57. The Rolling Stones - You Can't Always Get What You Want (ID's: 7)
Now this should had gotten much more ID's. One of my favourite tracks from the Stones.

58. Haak pres. Annunaki - Frenzy (MK-S Remix) (ID's: 6)
Haak you you Haaking Haak!

59. Fire & Ice - Samoa (ID's: 5)
Oops, I forgot I already had one F&I track in. The flipside to this is Para Siempre which is quite a bit better but I thought it would've been a bit too easy.

60. Filterheadz - Yimanya (ID's: 14)
A token track for point grabbing.

61. Mike Oldfield - Weightless (ID's: 2)
That guitar has Oldfield written all over it. From the Tubular Bells II album.

62. Kraftwerk - Aerodynamik (Alex Gopher & Etienne De Crecy Dynamik Mix) (ID's: 3)
Another disappointment for me. It even says the title on the sample, FFS!

63. Super8 + POS pres. Aalto - 5 (ID's: 9)
Can't really say I like this myself but you seemed to know it pretty well.

64. Avanto - The Flute (ID's: 5)
That's the kind of melody that can really get on your nerves after a while.

65. Antiloop - Speak'n'Spell (ID's: 5)
What David West used to do before going solo.

66. Oasis - Fuckin' In The Bushes (ID's: 5)
Another track that features the track title right in the sample. As heard in Snatch.

67. The Prodigy - Climbatize (ID's: 3)
C'mon people, it's The Prodigy!

68. Orbital - Fahrenheit 303 (ID's: 5)
Can't have an ID comp without Orbital. This is from their debut album.

69. Coburn - We Interrupt This Program (Stanton Warriors Remix) (ID's: 2)
A lot of partials on this one, but few got the mix right. Though if you've ever heard a track from the Stantons you know it's them...

70. Photon Project - Enlightenment (ID's: 3)
Three ID's? THREE?? What the hell?

A point of interest:
Not a single tune was left un-ID'd in this contest. Granted, a lot of that was due to the hints but still, be proud of yourselves.
