And by the way...after reading the paragraphs' that were wrote..makes me not want to give up on Djing..They were very inspiring to me. I know no one knows me but it pains me in my heart and soul as well as mind to give up EDM. It's been such a BIG part of my life, from the business side of buying wholesale and selling retail to buying old collections and flipping them for good money and to collecting the most obscure records for myself and winding them in a flow of liquid electricity..and also all the way to back to Atomix before it became Spy Room and also Area 51 in the Atrium...then in high school it was Industrial music..Skinny Puppy, The Tear Garden, Dead Can Dance, Front Line Asembly, Thrill Kill Kult, KMFDM, Leather Strip, Lead into Gold and most of the old Wax Trax team....that's how long EDM has been with me but I didn't start Djing til after those days. Every time I put on a record and just hear that needle hit the first groove in the record just makes me go bananas..I'm just a bedroom Dj but sometimes I feel so important just spinning some records in my room by myself with no one to hear...I feel apart of something BIG although I am all alone and no one hearing what I am mixing. I myself am very diverse in musical taste and try to throw in some odd tracks that I like with some popular tracks to make a unique flow..Sometimes I feel I need 3 turntables to do what I really want to do in mixing a set. I never been a crowd pleasure ( how could I be as a bedroom Dj ) but anyhow I play what I like and if that happens to be a Armin or Markus track then so be it but that doesn't mean it will limit me to what I choose to play.
