hes wrong. why? first off, i was a member of the crowd that was bullied all his school life. all my school friends generally had the same shit. none of us went and fucking shot up a school. i went to 4 different schools too. so i had to meet new people every time. none of us would ever think of even killing a soul let alone shooting up our school. these people are just out of control or deranged or a combination of both. parenting also has a huge impact on this too.

but youre not everyone. i am not, even for a second, condoning this kind of activity. but its no secret that a lot of these troubled people have been victims of social abuse.

drawing a singular parallel to your own experience in something like this is pretty pointless when stacked up against the statistics.

same thing happened to me really and never did shooting up the school/getting revenge pop into my head once. i agree that a lot of it has to do with bad parenting. i also don't think a lot of people these days know of how to maintain a positive self-esteem.

one of the reasons i do not want kids, i'd be a pretty horrible father. next thing you know my kid does something stupid and i have PKC at my door in a Cybran Commander suit, threatening to kill me because of my parenting skills.

Although it would take more confidence and self esteem to solve your problems in a systematic, peaceful way, I don't think it was a lack of confidence resulting from being victims of bullying that drove these aholes to shoot people up, because that move itself takes a lot of balls.
