see i wasn't sure (judging from people's comments/requests) if people posting in this thread actually were aware that in 2008, DJs usually don't drop stuff from 2005. and i don't know if it's different for trance DJs, as I despise the genre altogether and happily don't know much about it.

thank you for not being an ignorant ass like some on here i hope you have a fantastic time and i look forward to reading all your reviews, especially yours ZrAwz

i bitch about poorly produced events and horrid lineups, mainly. and i like seeing many DJs who will never ever get booked at stereo, so your comments are irrelevant there.

Being in the Top 10 DJ list means jack squat. Why do I think those cheeseballs are in the top 10? Cuz they made a track or 2 that appealed to all the little pilled out children out there (in other words, the masses) and they entertain their crowd when they perform by blowing kisses and making hearts with their hands to the highschool girls in the front row. WOOOOW, some qualifications! Each one of them have marketing geniuses behind every single thing they do and release. These DJs you've mentionned all have people in the studio FOR THEM, making the tracks that they eventually put their names on and get all the credit for when no credit is due.

man i've seen all those DJs many many many times especially armin and guetta. neither can mix properly. i think i've given them enough chances to form my own personal opinion. it's not a crime nor is it criticism to share that opinion on a forum where it's completely appropriate to do so.

my main point (in response to your post) is that being in the top 10 of DJ Mag or whatever means absolutely nothing anymore. and i'm not too sure if it ever did.

hmmm that's weak ...DJ mag means shit and ranks mean SHIT also....This poll only exists bc it brings out the fucking first time doing drugs party ppl to all big parties in T.O and then they go on to websites and vote just bc they had the time of their fucking lives at the "Rave" wtf ..I can't speak for MTL but I would imagine its the same. And everyone is entitled to their own opinion even you so if you worship those three up there then that's your perogative!

I dont even like guetta. Yet I dont go saying he SUCK you know why? because obviously a lot of people dont feel that way. Its like me going and saying Celine Dion suck because I dont like her music.. WRONG WRONG WRONG VERY WRONG. People not giving a fuck about EDM and just going to BAL EN BLANC once a year and not listening to edm music otherwise simply do not take the time to vote on dj mag.

By the way, that marketing comment of yours stereohead, is.. sad. You dont start with an empire, you build it. Same thing happens for the marketing of a dj. You need some solid base to start with. Yes NOW there's probably someone behind the Tiesto, Armin,Guetta etc etc doing all the marketing jobs and stuff but LOL had they sucked at the very beggining, they wouldnt even have any1 to back them up now.

With all that being said, have a great white party.

Just remember one thing especially with the DJ's you named above...no doubt Tiesto was talented fuck his magik series still blows ANY other production out of this world.... and no doubt Armin has worked f'in hard to be where he is...even if he had to be a marketing puppet and stand on his decks at various parties doing the Jesus pose hahaha....but just like when you build an "empire" as you described it rises and it falls, historically this is true but if you want to apply it to the above artists I'd say the same
Have fun and I hope I run into at the party...I'm FUCKING going to burn holes everywhere!!!!
