lol lets get serious please

mike is a good dj who has written a one or two awesome tracks.

durado will be a fave of mine for a long time but mike has a long way to go until he can be called exceptional

QFFT!

Mad props to Mikey Mike though

Maybe they could start the night at 9pm and go Steve - Mike - Internationals.. then Mike would be the "1st international" of sorts
I mean, it's not as if it's not fkn dark at 5pm nowdays! And going by other, recent events, *cough* tiesto *cough* it takes an HOUR to put your jacket in the cloakroom at the start of the night....

...(AND 2 HOURS TO PICK IT UP IN THE FREEZING FUCKING COLD IN THE MORNING, WHILE HALF THE FUCKING STAFF STAND AROUND AND CHAT, AND ONE FAT SLUT STAFF YELLS AT THE CROWD TELLING THEM IT'S THEIR OWN FAULT FOR STANDING IN LINE WITH THEIR FRIENDS/LOVED ONES..... but it's certainly not caused by the fact that they are handing back one jacket per minute )

Man, I heard you guys had the cloakroom put outside too, and it's SO much colder down there than here right now, so I shouldn't really be complaining. But this fat lesbian chick with a shaved head yelling at everyone in the que ("EVERYONE WHO DOES NOT HAVE A WRIST-BAND GET OUT OF THE QUE!!.... LET ME SEE ALL YOUR ARMS!" ) while all her collegues stood around and had a chat instead of helping get the jackets handed back quicker was a top notch effort from Hordern

Still my favourite Sydney venue by far!

^ Mike has further to go in djing than production though. His productions are A1.. His sets on the other hand start at 10 and end at 10. Yes I know it is his style to be "banging" but building a set is pretty important in my book.

also, im getting sick of the TA mentality on EITHER YOURE FOR MIKE NICHOL OR AGAINST HIM.. ffs everyones so touchy over the cunt, you'd think he was Jesus

dave knows the score. his dj'ing is waayyyy behind his production skills imo. i know he is very good technically in terms of djing but his set progression and track selection isnt very broad at all. tbh id have trouble differentiating between any part of any set ive heard him play. and ive seen him quite a few times.
thats not to say that he is a bad dj, cos hes not. i still moderately enjoy his sets but to say he is exceptional or that not many DJs have it over him, is wayyy over the top.

Steve May ftw imo more international gigs and releases than any other local and he's as equally good as a dj, producer and all round fvckbag.
