Left a pair of $150 sunglasses in a cab on Saturday followed by an SVD poster I left in the airport that I snatched from The Fifth and most importantly left my soul in Miami from all the drinking, drugs, lack of sleep and nurishment haha

Harry: So you got fired today?
Lloyd: Yeah, they always freak out when you leave the scene of an accident.
Harry: I lost my job today too.
Lloyd: Man, you are one pathetic loser. No offense.
Harry: Oh, none taken. But you know the thing that burns me though? I spent my entire life savings changing my van into a dog.
Lloyd: It's alright, Har. Chicks love it. It's a shaggin' wagon.

Yeah and then that way they can recite the entire movie driving back and forth between Miami and Ft Lauderdale at 8 in the morning.

Not that anyone I know has done that.

My story was that I wasn't gonna go up until the same week as the event. Friends who were "newbs" wanted me to take them and offered to pay for my ticket/party accessories and free ride down and hotel stay that night. I really couldn't say no could I?

My friends flew in from chicago late fri night and we get down to miami saturday at 3:30pm, i'm tryin to tighten them up and we get told by the hotel that they overbooked the rooms and they didnt have one for us. I kept everyone calm and managed to get the guy to get us a room at a hotel across the street and quickly got over there, changed and dipped out.

Arrived at like 5pm, but wanted to be there a lil earlier since this was the only thing we were doing for the weekend. Went str8 to the middle of the main stage and ran into some south american cats. We were dancing and having a good time and I saw 1 dude really FUBAR and dancing, but no sweating. I know when peeps are dehydrated and I gave him a water and told him to down it and chill out for a few mins. He did, and comes up to me a lil bit later and asks if the chick i was with was my girl. I told him no but i'm workin on it and he split a bean in half and said "half her, half you. Work good!". What a great trade for a water. So i kept calling out songs/mixes/dancing and had everyone around me getting along really well and making good space for my people. I'm the guy tryin to keep some order on the dancefloor and make sure the women are up front and nobody is outta hand. Well as were chillin the same S.American cat comes up to me with a Bullet(YayoBullet) and keeps saying some shit i didnt understand. Now i'm not big into getting on that shit but i figured oh well, homedude was tryin his best to hint to me that it was gonna be worth it and i said fuckit. Man i barely hit that bullet and it felt like someone highkicked me in the head(in a good way) and I was like WOW. He just smiled and we shook hands, I guess thats how south americans roll lol!

But ya I was parked in the dead middle of the main stage the entire time and had my own lil dance circle and everyone was feeding me waters, offering me everything under the sun and enjoying my knowledge. I'd call out mixes, songs and tell peeps, "watch this beat drop in, in 3, 2, 1, BAM" and all the strangers would just gimme this weird look and then start asking me questions and tryin to hang with us.

Of course when PVD played Time of our lives last I was like guys we gotta go! Seriously! But being the newbs they were they wanted to stay. Well afterwards when we fought the 1ks of people for a taxi and I was getting insane leg/calf cramps I was just like "I told you we needed to go". We finnaly get a taxi and i had to ride down part of the road with the door open cuz my leg wouldn't bend due to being so cramped up, was definately a buzz killer.

Got back to hotel and "Dibs on the shower", got a hot shower and layed down. Always a great feeling, and got a back massage from my friend. They told me after that it was over and I was a goner, Damn i slept good that night boy! But i'm getting old and I can't go like i used to, nor do I really like getting fucked up anymore. But shit once every year or two never hurt anyone.

To anyone new to WMC/Ultra and goin out on the long WMC type weekends I suggest keeping your partying to a yearly thing. WMC is a great time to go out and have "The time of your life" but remember that its not something you wanna make a habbit out of. Miami/WMC/partying will lose its appeal if your goin for the wrong reasons or if you replicate that type of partying at home throughout the year. Make sure your there for the music(like a true T/A) and that your physically/mentally prepared each year you go. Alot of peoplpe prolly found out how rough it can be on your body/mind if you don't do it right or go overboard. I've partied and done WMC sober as much as not-sober and sure its not as fun but if you can go sober and have a good time then you know your a true fan and a strong person. I suggest hitting up a big DJ or event sober if your one of those people who are ALWAYS fucked up. It puts things into perspective for you..

Sorry bout the wall of txt that I Crit you with, but I'm killing time and type really really fast. Theres lots of things i'd post up as far as advice to anyone new to Ultra/WMC/Partying/The Scene in general, but I don't think anyone cares nor would respect my opinion. PM me if you got any questions or post up, also any of the TA's that i've met through the years are still here post up or PM me so we can catch up at the next local event.

Thats what i'm talkin bout, I feel you on the Andy Moor, Pryda and SVD.

Dunno if everyone would understand the significance of it, but I've got World of Warcraft toons named after each of those 3(Don't laugh). Its cool when once every 6 months to a year one of the 100s of thousands of people who see thier names actually are fans and recognize it.
