Watched some of the cleavland game tonight. It was decided basically by free throws at the end.
I wonder what lebron is thinking when he passes to someone open amd miss over and over and over Its like they miss and then they get an offensive and give it back and he shoots and makes it. That is good but still wtf is his team? Did anyone else notice in the 4th this happening?

defense is also part of the game. lebron didn't do a very superstar job on that end trying to cover caron butler, not to mention allowing the game winner

I did not watch the game due to some work ughh but I am sure Darius Songaila not playing due to the so called face slap caused the wizards to get wrecked. esp.@home.

on the flip side only thing keeping lebron from real deal HOF status is one ring. With his team comparing to last year. LOL he will have to get quardruple doubles this time

If the celtics lose Orlando would have a good shot as long as DH does his 20/20 thing. They do have a strong line up but there always is a but when it comes to orlando. Well see in a week or two.

Eh, it wasn't worth watching. Least fun game to go to EVER. The Wizards just gave up on defense about halfway through the third quarter when they got down by double digits. I mean, they didn't even try to get out on Wally on the perimeter. Really lackluster performance.

But one comment:

I lost all respect I may have ever had for LeBron James as a player. He may be one of the most talented athletes to ever play the game, but the way he handles himself on the court is appalling. He constantly jaws at his own teammates, chewing them out whenever he has to take a bad shot. I'll give credit where credit is due and say he did look to pass more in this game - one reason I think the Cavs played so much better - but his ability to take a terrible shot and still chew out a teammate is unparalleled in any athlete I've ever watched in person.

Also, the way he whines and moans at the refs throughout the game is so tiring. You may have seen on TV that the Verizon Center was handing out mock 23 jerseys that said "Crybaby" - he definitely lived up to that name once again tonight. Any time he got bumped, whether incidental or not, he'd go straight to the refs. He'd ham it up as well - the worst example was when he lowered his shoulder and went into Antawn Jamison to shoot a shot - his shoulder caught Jamison square in the jaw, but it was LeBron who made a great show of pain! And the eye thing - give me a break. I've never seen someone so unabashedly fake an injury since watching the Italians play in the World Cup.

Despite his unbelievable skill and athletic ability, the guy is nowhere near ready to be a leader, and the talk about Hall of Fame is laughable - he needs to grow up first. Say what you will about DeShawn Stevenson, but he doesn't plead his case to the officials after every call that doesn't go his way, and he certainly doesn't chew out his teammates for his own mental lapses.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, if I were going to build an NBA franchise around just one player, LeBron would not be on my top 5 list of candidates for the job.

Gah, what a disappointing night.

Interesting comments but!!!! hmmm damn lost my mind ok..

-you went to the game?? if so nice but sucks they lost

-Unfortunately I don't watch the NBA like I used to and even if I am sure Desahwn Stevenson would not compute in my NBA knowledge. Unless he played like Chris paul who I never heard of until this year as well.

-Blame David Stern. He loves good ol lebron and his winning ways.
When he see lebron he see MJ and guess what that means = $$ so until he sucks stern is riding the Lebron train right now. Personally if I got yelled at by a super star and we still won its better than gettting yelled at and losing!(i.e. see kobe bryant last year) he is soo happy he got his sibling team mate to help out gasol)

chris paul was a pretty good pg during his college days. i didn't think he would turn out this well. there's only a couple players besides lebron that i can think of to build a team around for the next 7 or 8 years. chris paul is one and dwight howard is the other. i think a lot of it depends on where you want to start. some teams feel like having a dominate big man is the most important while others strive for that dynamic pg. when lebron came into the league i was rooting for him to fail because i hate when the media hypes up athletes like that (see michelle wei). but he's developed pretty well in a shitty system with not a lot around him. i think the only thing he needs is a veteran or coach to set him straight on how to be a leader, but his game is at the right level.

Oh I agree that he is a dominant player, but in a franchise player you want someone who can make his teammates better as well. Someone who can lead. And after six years in the NBA, LeBron still acts like a baby.

!

You'd never heard of Chris Paul?? I will give you that Stevenson had vastly underperformed since getting so much hype when he was drafted a few years ago, but he had a very solid season in Washington this year - 12 pts, 3 asts, 3 rebs per game and shooting ~40% from three point. His defense is also probably the best on the team. I've heard him compared to a young, more powerful and gritty Ray Allen.
