As much as I love trance "back in the day" and the collection of experienced ears that continue to post here, the site isn't really about trance anymore, and hasn't been for a few years now. Perhaps as an exercise in history and nostalgia, yes, but not as a voice for the present genre. So it's a bit meaningless to ask about opinions of trance in 2008, because TA isn't all that concerned with "trance" in 2008.
Barring any unlikely revivals, this trend will probably continue. I'd love to be excited about something new in trance, but it would take big changes in attitude and style for that to happen. |
Maybe we should start using "Ancient Trance", just not to confuse TA's who even like 2008 Trance like me.
