I would call the office and ask if they were in the apartment. Explain that things had been moved around. I dont think it's legal for them to enter without leaving you a note saying they were there, but thats probably in your contract somewhere. Anyways, if they say they werent, I would ask them to change your locks. I think its worth it for the peace of mind. Im always paranoid that someone can get into my place.

the worst is when you know someone has come in because shit is actually missing. during first semester last year my apartment was broken into at least 4 times. that shit makes you paranoid, especially if you can't even report it because they stole something illegal.
