That's one half of the nature vs. nurture argument, yes.
Thanks for making this personal, an excellent way to open communication lines and debate rationally.
And yes, children most certainly learn how to misbehave. Monkey-see, monkey-do is the oldest adage in the book! |
Don't take it personally. It applies to everyone. Unless you know someone who has never lied, cheated, or stolen, let me know..
No, children don't learn to misbehave. There natural tendency is to misbehave. It is parental guidance which instructs them otherwise.
Now, if children are not inherently selfish, misbehaving creatures, than we should have at least 1 government which has lasted through the ages. The fact is, every government is corrupt, because humans are inherently corrupt, from the 3 year old child, up to the 60 year old statesman. You must live in a very rosy world, to think us humans are actually inherently good! I want what you're smokin! Evolution requires a selfish creature. Otherwise that creature will be extinct in no time.
And because every government is corrupt, what is your alternative to our current form of government? Another corrupt government? What does the radical libertarian movement have in mind? Abolish the Fed? Ok, what takes its place? Gold standard? Ok, what prevents an exodus to gold? You guys rail against the system, but yet, none of you understand the system, and more importantly, none of you has an alternative.
So I have a question.
What's your alternative to the Federal Reserve System and fiat currency? Especially given the corrupt nature of government.

but given the strength with which you hold certain beliefs, and your unwillingness to grasp real, factual information that litter any research medium with which you might choose to use- do you think it is intellectually dishonest of you to then turn around and make this kind of comment (about central banks)?
i appreciate that you care a lot about your topics, and that is to be commended. but if youre going to (copy) post at length then i expect a slightly better understanding than this reply indicates. |
Ok, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by all this. I think, stating, that it would be unwise for me to continue in an economic discussion is rather honest of me, intellectually. Tongue in cheek all the way here, m8.

It's rather futile, I'm sure you'd agree, to assume a 25 year old drum and bass producer/culinary graduate has deeply pondered the faults of your economic system, or central bank system in general. |
See? This is me saying, "I have no genuine idea". I've lost interest utterly in debating economics, once realising the depths at which I was debating in. Fuck dat, as they say.
Then I follow up by saying,

I'll let someone else stick their foot in their mouth on that subject. |
Sooooo.. in essence, I am at a loss for what you think I was trying to say.
