Hating having to smoke wet bud is trying too hard?

No, assuming I was talking about trimming wet bud was. I didn't realize I needed to spell everything out for you step by step, but if it helps - Jay and I were both talking about the final trim, and unless you absolutely love smoking all the awful leaf that comes with your "properly cured" weed, you'd be doing it to.

Honestly, how did you even draw that conclusion from the post you quoted? It was such an obvious "I'm going to try and sound smart by making someone else look dumb" attempt that it was near physically painful to see it fail so horribly.

Really, just stop. You're embarrassing yourself.

Again I'm not trying to make you look stupid. All I'm saying is that if it were legal and people were growing it on a mass scale then prices would come down. Probably about the prices Jay is talking about.

Think about it if people are free to grow outside you eliminate the overhead by cutting out energy and lighting/ventilation. I guess I'm wrong about it and you're right and you're the weed master and I can't grow an ivy plant even if I tried for ten years.

It it were legal though you could grow pretty damn good marijuana outside in your yard that would yield maybe up to a pound per plant. And if a lot of people were doing that then it would be dirt cheap for good marijuana.

The way this whole conversation began was due to you using the qualifier "good" with regard to anyone being able to grow high quality marijuana in their yard. It had little to nothing to do with cost, especially our little aside here.

I could give fuck all about commercial pot, and likely would smoke as little of it as I possibly could (same as now) regardless of it's legality.

Edit: Also, lol at rereading a "pound per plant" - not because it's even remotely unheard of, but because yet again, it is nowhere near as easy as you make it out to be - especially when it comes to growing pot worth smoking.

It would never be legal for everyone to grow. There is a difference between legal to buy in a government store and legal to plant and grow in your back yard like its corn or tomatoes or something. Even if that was allowed that would not be what brought the price down. Like Rob said, your average joe can't just throw a few seeds in the ground and end up with quality weed. What would bring the price down is the government would grant contracts to large companies/farms to produce drugs. Weed would be farmed on huge plantations like any other cash crop where economies of scale can be had. This would allow quality weed, coco, whatever to be produced cheaply.

Think of it as analogous to electronic music. Sure Deadmau5 can make plenty of tracks, but the number of them worth smoking... err, uh... playing or listening to, is something like 1 per 50.

Just because it's out there and might get you high doesn't mean it's worth paying money for.

Rob, while I know nothing about growing marijuana really, I would say it is safe to say that an AS in Horticulture would do more hands on stuff with growing, etc., than a BS in it. Since the BS would have more application to the advancing science of Horticulture. Since the AS would have more hands-on stuff, it would be more applicable to a job in a nursery or the likes, than genetic engineering or resistance to pests.

I guess thats because I have a tendancy to think most things are easy. I still think people would be able to pull close to a pound per plant of good weed given a few years to work things out. I never said someone is going to walk outside toss a handful of schwag seeds into the wind and then six months later they're going to have 10 pounds of competition quality bud. And yeah i'll pass on the deadmau5 weed you're right about that.

Edit:
For piss test use certo.
