So ended up buying a 60G xbox 360 that game with lego indiana jones, NFS carbon and stranghold. Also bought Fable 2 and FIFA 09.

I've actually been a huge fan of the Wii for single player gaming because they have a lot of really WEIRD titles that exude awesomeness. 360 seems to be home of the shooters and PS3 the RPGs; Wii instead has a lot of surprisingly awesome oddball games that suck you in. Stuff like Trauma Centre, Okami, No More Heroes, etc. Additionally, there are the classics like Twilight Princess and Galaxy.

I really find the PS3 titles lack innovation. They just ride the success of a handful of franchises (FF, MGS, Soul Caliber, Tekken, GTA, Devil May Cry, etc) which seem to relentlessly bop out a new instalment every couple of years.

The Wii has the benefit of having the virtual console, where you can purchase all the classics for download on the cheap. But then again, you can pirate them just as easily, so this may or may not be of any value.

Wii-60 is still the way to go.

wii and xbox360 aren't aiming for the same market anyways. Sure they might share a few game titles, but thats not why people buy the WII instead of the XBOX (or PoS3).

what's the use of comparing both?
