in all seriousness mate, roughly how many calories did you cut down to per day & still feel ok? I don't wanna do anything too drastic for health reprocussions but think i can lose a few to what i already do (i'm already at about 1700 max a day)

I was down to 900 a day; however, I was also taking vitamin b6&12 injections and being supervised by a doctor. I wouldn't recommend going to that extreme unless you're under the care of a doctor.

would you concur then that being obese was your fault then?
Awesome stuff btw, i did not know you used to live in Porkerville. To lose weight in that amount in such a short period of time is something other fatties should aspire to and feel shame for not doing.

In my case, yes; my obesity was entirely due to caloric intake. That said, not all obesity is due to poor dietary habits (although I would suggest the vast majority of obese people are that way by their own doing).

I would agree that the majority of obese people are obese by their own doing but the vast majority of the morbidly obese...which are the ones that would require two seats...are that way due to other factors then dietary habits.

I'd love to see research backing that up. I agree there are people who suffer from disorders such as hypothyroidism, clinical depression, etc. that have difficulty controlling their weight because of those disorders; however, I have difficulty believing it is the majority; even if you limit the pool to just the morbidly obese. Finally, those that do have diagnosed disorders that are the cause of their obesity should be given the same rights as any disabled person... with regard to the airlines that would be reasonable accommodation (likely a bump to the first class seats or two seats if absolutely necessary)... but to give every obese person a free seat for their left cheek is nuts.

This is patently false. Morbidly obese people are mostly just larger obese people that got there by their own doing. They did this to themselves. The number of people that are morbidly obese due to a genuinely diagnosed medical condition is such a small minority.
Example #1
Example #2
Both those examples are morbidly obese people because of their own doing. The female was 850lbs and died of a heart attack due to her weight. The male was in the hospital for 9 months and lost 500lbs. He was 1050lbs.
