got to guv early. caught the
early part of glens set. was
pretty good however i couldnt stand
the overwhelming number of chinese
[no offense]. jumped into the acid
lounge. some new djs were in there.
music was bland and the mixing was
uninspiring. aleksandra then went
on. never heard her live b4 but man
this girl has talent. ive heard her
mixes but live was a different story.
she played some killer techno which i
didnt know she spun. her mixing was
tiiight. i felt no shame being one of
those trainspotters (thats prob cuz shes
smokin hot haha - btw, thx for the cd, i love it). went back to the guv
to check sander but wasnt feeling it, i
think its the people in the mainroom that
just kills my vibe. caught some of deko-zes
set. that guy was killing the filter effects.
i had to leave tho cuz i was getting bumped
by a shit load of sweaty smelly ppl.

I got some of her set on video, but I'm not sure if I'll mix it with Sanders stuff, or on it's own. The problem with that room is it's so dark I had to use infrared mode to compensate.

Not sure yet... hoping by the end of next week. Right now I'm running it though a special filter that removes a lot of the graininess due to low light conditions. This is one of the problems with consumer level (not pro) HD camcorders. It will take about 3 days running 24/day with all of my four cores running at 80-90% capacity (that's about 9GHZ power). The size of each frame is in full HD and that's what slows things down to a crawl. There's so much to process. If I reduced the size it would greatly increase the speed, but I don't want to do it again if I need the cleaned video at full HD in the future. YouTube's HD is at 1280x720 and that's what the final cut will output at, which is smaller than what I'm processing at.
After the initial "cleanup" the editing will go relatively quick. My problem is that since I have my foot in Spin Inc's door and Sander's possible exposure windfall, I want to try and produce a pretty good product.
