I rank Songs of Faith and Devotion pretty high up; no doubt that it was better than Ultra.... the live version even more so,
but I am glad that phase is over and done with and that they are back to their roots. Also, Playing the Angel could have been mastered better

I think their best time was when Alan Wilder was in the band. When he left, the band lost something. Most of the tunes of that time was composed by Martin Gore, but Wilder gave some really good vibes to the band. But after all, I'm looking forward to this new one!
