honestly fuck everyone here in the cor the pros are far more than the cons....regardless of what everyone says, you wont regret it....if you need to take pics and it is important buy a digi.

I have used the iPhone extensively, and I find it to still suck.

I'm having an Iphone right now and i find its kind of ridiculous that

A) you can't send multimedia messages.
B) you cannot attach more then one picture at a time in an e-mail.
C) you can't use the phone as a usb stick or storage (without add ons)
D)the touch screen texting does not work in horizontal mode
E) you cannot copy paste
F) you cannot search txt in webpage
G) you cannot send files other then pictures. via e-mail
H) you don't have call duration of a call
I) E-mail refresh is minimum 15 minutes. they should have done an instantanous one like blackberrry.


These are the negative points.

I haven't jailbroken my phone yet and im pretty sure most of these issues can be remedied if i do. I just find it odd that apple wouldn't include these basic features on the phone.


Other then that. The mp3 player is great (especially if you have extended sets you can scroll to the position you like.

Browsing is quick and efficient. Better then the blackberry for sure.
16 gig storage is great.

I'd go Palm Pre or wait for the new iPhone in the summer.

A)i have never needed to send a multimedia message, why not just e-mail it?

B)I agree that you should be able to send more than one picture but thats available in 3.0 currently

C)I think 16gb is too small (considering it already has videos, music on it) But it should be enable cause I am pretty sure their iPods are even able to do this

D) Should have been there from the start, but is available in 3.0

E) Well to tell you the truth i have never needed to use that unless I was away from the computer for days (almost never happens lol). But it should have been there from the start, and i am sure it was not that hard to implement before, so FK apple on that one

F) Well i guess it should be there, but i never needed it, idk if its in 3.0

G)What do you want to send except for that? If you say the notes in the Notes app, well you can ..

I) by instantaneous you mean the PUSH service right? if so then its already available if you sign up for an Apple Mobile Me account (99$ a year) and idk how push exactly works and idk if its possible to set other e-mail accounts like GMAIL to DIRECTLY push e-mail to the iPhone (not forwarding to Mobile Me)

I currently use and iPhone for personal use and a BB 8900 for work

and iPhone Safari (web browser) is the best on any mobile phone that i have seen) but iPhone e-mail will never be able to compete with BB's

I like to be able to see how long I was on the phone sometimes. Like when I am on hold or some shit.

Also, pretty much all the annoyances will be fixed in 3.0. Spotlight has been added to 3.0.

I'd get an HTC Dream or a Blackberry Storm

if I had the money though, I'd get a Vertu

Main things that suck about iPhone is :

the camera sucks so bad that i don't they should have even included one in the first place

no true background multi-tasking has been implemented

battery life is pretty bad (still usable, but not great)


the 3g model feels pretty cheap compared to the 1st and 2nd generation iPhone

the screen could look better (compared to the BB Bold and the BB 8900)

The Dream is nice, but has its flaws. I can't stand the stupid thing on the side between your hand and the keyboard. It is annoying.

Also, the BB Storm keyboard blows because you have to push the whole damn screen in to type a letter. Visual cues aren't enough.
