i've started buying native cigarettes.
10$ a week is all it costs and they suck so bad that hopefully they will motivate me enough to stop. I want to quit, but i want to shed a good 15 lbs so that i don't blimp up after. The patch does not work either, they taste horrible
Well..you just have to replace one habit with another. I didn't gain any weight when I quit smoking, because I was able to fill the void with other things...and be disciplined enough to not eat instead.
Alas, here I am..smoking again. Was doing so good for a while. *sigh*

it is amazing that i was able to stop being a coke fiend , yet i can't quit something i get legally.
I will quit, it just is harder than anything else i have ever dropped.
as you can tell by the recipe thread, i enjoy eating.

I actually spoke to my dentist about a week ago about this very topic.
He said that the whitening toothpastes are pretty much a waste of time as they contain so little whitening ingredient, and even then its only in contact with your teeth for a couple of minutes at most.
Any product which promises whitening which you only leave on for a short period was full of crap.
He recommended the whitening strips that you leave on for a decent period of time, said they would have the biggest effect. The whitening at the dentist and stuff he said wasn't really worth the money, it was only worth it if you absolutely needed instant results "like if you needed to be on national tv tonight".

I have a friend who did the bleaching thing, and now she drinks cold beverages through a straw because her front teeth are too sensitive.
Her teeth are really white though, so guess she got what she wanted?

yeah i think i'm gonna try the elfreak method for a bit, i'll get back to you kids about results.
