well asians are also disproportionately asians relative to the rest of the human species.

We have successful people of all races and phenotypes and even those that are not successful are helped economically thruogh plans (disabled and the less fortunate etc)

so selection pressure is reduced even more with an increased gene flow making evolution less probably.


I am obvioulsy thinking in terms of our situation in the past several hundred years or so and if it continues at this pace in a social civil manner.

Who knows how the world is going to be in 2000 years or less. At this piont we may be able to isolate Coding DNA, what proteins it codes for and what they all do. Who would need evolution at this point? Presumably something similar to gattaca.

OR we can go into a worse state and head towards our primal routes (tribes and geographic isolation) and let "natural" selection take its course. The animal way of evolution.

IMHO its a sticky situation. on the one hand if you do something like this, who gets to decide who's to be sterilized and who isn't? today it could be the homeless or the sick, tomorrow it could be people of a certain race/ethnicity/religious affiliation...

on the other i dont think that the current population growth rate is sustainable and something must be done to bring the world's population under control...

I think my comments are logical. I think you are trying to simplify things way to much and are looking to a quick solution. Since we live in civil society an issue like this needs to be looked after carefully.

IF a woman gets raped she always has the option of an abortion. A man who has sex with a mentally disabled woman should know to use protection and should be held responsible if anything would happen as she may not be fit to make logical descisions (regarding pregnancy). Usually people in this state are looked after by someone and are not left on the street to wander or whatever. Sterilizing them without their conscent is inhuman and a severe violation of human rights. How would you presume a government would carry out mass sterilization?

If anything i think you are acting like a religious idiot by proclaiming such a crude solution to problems that can be solved in more humane manners. "she's a witch! burn her at the stake"
