if u guys are looking for SPEEEEDDD...your looking in the wrong direction....

i mean dont get me wrong i would love to have a M5 or CLK...they are all around mint cars....

BUT...if u want speed and for half the price...just buy a 68 Camaro slap in a 426 Hemi and have it BLOWN..(superchargerd for people who dont know what blown means), gut it out and maybe get a bigger cam...and I guarantee you, ur car will blow the doors off ANY BMW or Benz in the 1/4 mile and 0-60...anyone who DARES to say its not true...well i go to many street races and my friend has this exact car and will put up $10,000 to race to show you...he will even give the BMW or Benz 3 cars and the break...and for people who dont race...that means u can have 3 car lengths head start and be able to hit the gas first...then he will pin his Camaro and SMOKE YOU and collect his cash...

but thats if your looking for all out speed...speed that when u hit that gas u feel liek your chest is going to cave in because it launches so hard.....and u have trouble breathing when that car breaks the line...

LoL....i am SERIOUS...if u wanna race it i will let him know...he has races backed up for the next month..but once those are done he will take ya..even with you spraying a 20 shot...which isnt that much anyway..but atleast your honest admitting u will be spraying..most people try and hide that and hide their lines...so thats cool u tell the truth..

But this would be a SERIOUS race...these guys dont play...if u say ur gunna race and show up..u gotta show the money...and if u do lose and dont pay up they will take u outta your car and keep it....its a business for them....they take it very very serious...

but think before u take this bet....ur talking about a 68 gutted and blown 426 Hemi Camaro with HUGE cams .... and i even will post his last ETA...

ON SLICKS = 8.76
STREET TIRES = 9.30

thats 1/4 mile times..

last Thursday night he beat and took 4,000 from some kid in a Viper in Yonkers, NY and a 99 Saleen with a 100 shot ...so THINK first..

do u HONESTLY beleive u have a chance??....his car is FULLY worked without juice and his the 3rd fastest street race car in the tri-state area...

but if your down then i will let him know...and u can still have the 3 cars and the break..he might even give u 4 cars length...

dont get me wrong i LOVE BMW and BENZ to death..but if u wanna talk about SERIOUS speed then worked Camaros and Mustangs are the fastest...

Not looking for that kind of speed, sorry. I like cars which are fast, have great handlng, excellent brakes, drive smooth, are nicely designed, and on top of it all, are quality built, inside and out. Not to mention, something that wont break down without any warning. Those Camaros and Mustangs are only good for one thing, straight line accelaration. Their handling needs much to be desired. if the race is not straight line, then these cars are totally crap. Build quality is horrible on these cars, interior is all plastic and cheap materiala are used. No styling on the outside whatsoever. It rattles and hums everywhere on the inside. And on top of all this, they spend most of their time in the workshop. No thanks!

I will be very happy in my 350Z and E46 M3. Speed, handling, superior design, and elegant interior!

oh i agree.....your right.....however there is also the 2003 Cobra that runs high 12's in the 1/4 mile beating the M3 , handles like its on rails, and topped out at 180...not bad at all...

but your right....for an ALL AROUND car i would go with your choices...i am just basicaly talking about if your looking for power that will blow your mind...a car that u would be scared to floor...

I am loving my 330ci I can only imagine how the m3 is, art get that shit, and talking about camaro and mustangs you can bury those metals. They might have speed when you hook it up, but take it on a narrow highway with sharp turns and you will find yourself dead. BMW sticks to the ground. And 800 american horsepower = to 300 german horsepower.

ahhahahahhahahahahhahahahah...LOL...u dont know much about cars do you?...the 2003 Mustang Cobra will destroy the M3 and M5 on the highway....ahhahahahhah...fuckign car tops out at 180mph with a full race suspension consisting off 22mm front and rear sway bars, coilover suspension and race bushings and tie rods from the showroom STOCK...

they tested the Cobra vs the M3 and the Cobra blew it away...go look it up.....

i have been around racing for so many years...trust me when i say American muscle cars are the leaders in power...noone can deny that...

LOL....300 HP is not alot....i know kids with Honda Civics with more then 300 HP that will out handle a Porsche....shit my car out handles a Porsche 996 and a M5....and yes i have raced them both on the Merrit parkway in Connecticut...and the Porsche and M5 drivers couldnt handle the turns at the speeds i could...handling is a cheap upgrade and BMWs stock dont have that great of handling....i have driven M3s, 740IA, and M5 and all where too loose....

2002 M3, upgraded to R19, with Bridgestone's S03 (245 front and 285 rear) is the best handling car I ever drove (on the level with 911 Turbo 4 wheel drive)... Took turns @ 4x the posted limit
