When I saw Tool on the Lateral_us tour, the special guest here was Meshuggah. Such a sick show, their drummer came out when Tool played triad and jammed out with danny carey.

What do you mean "all other thrash metal"? They're not exactly a thrash band.

In my opinion it's beginning with "Nothing" that it gets really interesting.

Contradictions Collapse was more like 80's epic metal.

Contradictions Collapse is their (only) thrash record, and i don't think it's particularly good or essential. After CC the thrash influence was phased out.

Man, the ONLY bands that deserve to be called "thrash" are Megadeth and Slayer and hell I'm going to there concert in October! :D

I'm confused here, is someone calling Meshuggah, thrash metal?!? They are the furthest from it. THIS is thrash metal:

Again everyone at discogs seems to disagree about what meshuggah is.
