Lol, Elyyse, that's exactly how I felt. he was dropping those 9pm hints like people would faint at the very sound of the greatest trance track ever made (which he acts like it is).
honestly, in my eyes he's a one hit wonder, although so many people eat up all his vocal trax, and he really shouldn't be as arrogant as it appears he is.
I don't know if I would consider the guy a one hit wonder, but I agree with what Elyyse says about his sets.
I saw him about 4 years ago at Spundae out in LA with Armin at a White party that Spundae had going on at the time. It was an epic night over all and my first time seeing both DJs. I've seen ATB about 7 times since and it never fails. Always the same exact opening song (Ecstasy) and dropping in clips of 9 pm through out his set till about the last 20 minutes where he'll play the original club mix. Again, the first time I saw this I was impressed but it's kinda sad to see his sets have not changed at all over the past 4 years.

1999-2003 were just epic years (although i cant say i partied really until 2001, i was too young!)....every night in a club was just beyond words.
when Tiesto played in Toronto, summer 2003, it was one of the most mind blowing nights I have ever been to.....think: armin @ TW-type night.....my friends and I were almost in tears when it was over ......trance was just on a whole other level in those days omg!!! even oakie was good then I miss those days!
/sorry for continuing the off-topic, but the ride back with andrew and the girls was sooo much fun ahah! just screaming the lyrics of he whole CD with the windows down, going nuts hahahaah!

dont ever compare tiesto to armin tw!!! haha..
:waits for burak to chime in:
makes sense because tiesto was better during his "good" years than armin will ever be. although i do agree tobacco warehouse was probably the best trance weekend ever.

Then Swamper and his entourage of 30, who were all wearing TA monogramed Rolexes, left the room and flew to Hawaii for a few hours because Del wanted fresh coconut.
To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.
