Not really a dining experience, but one day earlier this summer a few of us went for drinks on a patio and our waitress was awful. I shit you not she was at least 15 minutes before she returned with our drinks every time we ordered, and she kept forgetting to put lemon slices in (we were drinking Hoegaarden). Also, she kept leaving all our old dirty glasses on the table (my buddy who is a server pointed out that one should never walk away empty handed from a table with dirty dishes on it). Same service when we ordered food. She just sucked.

We kept saying how she was gonna get a shit tip...but we were there for so long that her shift ended and another waitress took over. Well this dumb bitch came to collect her tabs, and was like "You guys paid me already, right?" And my two buddies just looked her in the eye and said "Yep."

Lol...it was over an 80 dollar tab.

I went to a bar in Brooklyn called Supreme Trading that had the best service ever. I told the server who happened to also own the place it was my last night there, so she kept reminding me that she had my credit card for the tab, and not to forget it, and then she cut the tab in half at the end of the night and let us chill and finish up drinking when they were closing and kicking everyone else out. I tipped her $40-50.

I *almost* felt bad when we realized she worked past her shift...obviously to earn back the money she lost. She was looking around all frantically too, double checking with each table she served.

Lesson learned the hard way for her.

Another bad service story:

Went to a bar just outside the city with the intention of putting down some good coin on food and drinks. Ended up leaving after the first pint cause the bartender bitch kept ignoring us. We asked for menu's so it should've been obvious we want to eat but everytime she walked by us she would turn the other way and walk slightly faster; or she'd pretend to be pre-occupied with something else. Finally I snapped my fingers at the bitch, got the bill and paid in as much change as possible. We ended up giving her exactly what was on the bill (no tip) but it was all in toonies, loonies, etc etc.

It's a real shame cause the food there is really good and they have over 100 beers on tap.

Dude w/e. I'm sure that shit happens all the time, and I bet you any money that bitch doesn't even have a job there anymore.

Besides, Marcia works there...we can sit in her section and she doesn't fuck around. I told her about that day and she laughed her ass off..said the chick deserved it, lol.
