I understand what slylee states if you are going to pay 85$ for some assistance on the phone at least let it be someone that speaks proper english .

Every time I call the bank for some assistance , as soon as I hear that accent I know it will be a long day for me , specially because i have an accent too ,so between he or she trying to understand me and I trying to understand them a lot of time is lost and it is f***ing frustrating .

Iv asked before if i can speak with another person because i could not understand them... they said ok and transfered me to someone i could understand.

if the_voice were in your situation, he wouldn't have to take the toefl. How does that make you feel?

EDIT: someone shoot me if that situation were to ever materialize, as that would indicate The_Voice would be applying for a PHD.

PS: I recently read an article of how disenfranchised german students are , and your frustration definitely affirms it
