I don't ever ever ever listen to r&b kind of stuff but I discovered The Foreign exchange a while back and I quite like it.
Calming and relaxing, I like listening to it when I wake up ( the instrumentals do it for me)

Here's one song ( I'd never seen the clip before I posted this and it ... kinda ruined it for me :/ ):

oh yeaaaaah I saw afu-ra in the thread. forgotten that.

one good old album if Def Squad - El Nino. Kinda under the radar not a lot of people know it. One of the "last" "good" albums of it's age.

Those are awesome. Really chill.

I thought that was the only work he did. No idea he worked with rappers, thanks for the exposure!

This year New York got the real shit out, fuck those ****** ass southern rappers. No one is seeing Jada and Raekwon (only built 4 cuban linx 2). Hottest new tracks out for that raw hip hop.

weak? u from Canada. The only known rapper u got from there is Drake, and he's straight garbage. Raekwon and Jada are legends doing it since the early 90s. But you wouldn't know bout that only true lox and wu heads know about these cats. I'm not going to waste another sentence on you, u must be infinite high right now.

You may be right, but you're also a fuckin idiot, so I dunno...

Ps. what does me being from Canada have to do with anything? Hip Hop is hip hop. You're not privy to some secret knowledge if you're from another country. And you don't have to be a "true head" of anything cause I know exactly who these guys are.

Mike Stroud and Evan Mast first met as Skidmore College students, but they did not work together until they recorded several songs under the name "Cherry" in 2001. Their 2004 debut, Ratatat, was written and recorded in Mast's Crown Heights, Brooklyn apartment on Stroud's PowerBook.[1] The album is entirely instrumental with the exception of vocal excerpts at the beginning and end of selected tracks. The group debuted by releasing the single Seventeen Years on Evan and his brother's record label Audio Dregs in the US and Rex Records in the UK. Seventeen Years was released again on Evan and his brother E*Rock's record label Audio Dregs. They then signed for XL Recordings, releasing their debut album and the single Germany to Germany. Ratatat occasionally remixes others for collected release on Ratatat Remixes Vol. 1 (which garnered the attention of Rolling Stone), as well as the later second volume, both of which were self-released in co-operation with Audio Dregs.

COR version, two white guys that make hip hop instrumentals that appeal to while people and hip hop remixes that appeal to while people. i do like some of their things, but most of it grows old.

Favs:

Lex
Seventeen Years
Kanye West - Get Em High
Party and Bullshit
Allure
The Mule
Diamonds
We Gon Ride
