Your cynicism continues to blind you. Without needing to have been there I can tell you he was trying to quiet the people who went because he was the frontman for Pearl Jam and were looking for a rocking show. You can't perform the material that he had with meatheads screaming during an acoustic performance. It has nothing to do with being self-serving or demanding admiration. If you knew the history of Pearl Jam (just the tip of which was their fight against Ticketmaster to try to lower prices for the general public, a topic you probably know something about given your gf's occupation) you'd see that they hardly fit the mold. It's not about being blinded to the truth just because you like an artist or you were there. That mentality is well behind both of us and you know it. If there was a way to prove it, I'd put money down that many people with decent heads on their shoulders walked out of that show with a very different impression. If this goes any further, let's do our fellow board members the honor of starting another thread.

if you saw the price for the tickets to this show you would see that your whole post above is nothing but garbage. You cater to the crowd and not to your own needs. If the show lasts 5 minutes longer because people want to show you admiration, yet you sternly almost scold them into being quiet so you can have the floor, you fail at the number one priority of a musician giving a live performance aka CONNECTING WITH THE AUDIENCE.

assumption is the mother of evils isn't it? You talk about my girlfriend's job like you know what it is? You talk about the expected mentality of a show, without going or seeing the expectations first hand of the people that paid more than the average ticket price to see it (i can tell you that he didn't lower prices for this one.)?

You should probably stick to talking about things that you can back up through personal experience, and facts, and not things the way you see them as they should be from afar.

Hey, i'm not going to stereo this weekend, but maybe i'll write a review up anyways based on what i thought happened.

you sound like a better spoken version of technohead.

and btw it was advertised as a "non rocking show". does this mean that everyone should have went wearing white gloves and tuxedos and not do anything other than golf claps?

get the fuck out of here.

You just lost a lot of respect in my eyes. I know, you're too cool to care though.

While I was reading some of your posts I tought to my self "damn I am getting old...."....

Here are my top partys:
- Enigma 1-2-3 (those were the bigest rave events back in the days when Production 514 used to produce them. Enigma was my 1st rave!!
- 1st and 2nd Swirl
- Bal en Blanc at Metropolis (was much smaller back then).
- There is also a special night we had at (((Stereo))) maybe 3 years ago! What a crazy night it was!!!!!!
