I saw him on the In The Flesh tour 'some' years ago, it was an awesome gig with all the biggest tracks included.

BUT I have NEVER heard ANYONE play as LOUD as they did, my ears were ringing for the rest of the summer

So in conclusion, it was good, it would have been great, but damn why do they have to go over the top with the levels, is beyond me.

agreed... that's why there is such invention as "ear plugs". I no longer go to any music event without them. My early signs of tinitus are scaring the shit out of me.

The gigs I attended before that one were Maiden & Slayer, and I didn't have any issues regarding my ears, so I thought I could handle Waters with the same equipment (none).. 'Thought'

Wasn't the case when I saw him. The sound was absolutely crisp, and it was surround.

I am pretty sure, whom would be incorrect. According to a Google search result:
quote:
This is one of those tricky grammar questions that continues to confound some people. According to the American Heritage Book of English Usage, "Who is used for a grammatical subject, where a nominative pronoun such as I or he would be appropriate, and whom is used as the object of a verb or preposition."
For those of us to whom (notice the correct usage of "whom" after a preposition) grammar school is a distant memory, a little basic English review is needed. A nominative pronoun acts as a subject of a verb (Who ate the cake?) or as the subject of a linked verb (Did you see who ate the cake?). A direct object, on the other hand, is the object of a verb (Whom did you call?) or a preposition (He is the person to whom I placed the call).

Sorry, yes. Here's the general rundown...

Lily Allen came out for a better portion of the last part and did a wicked violin solo during Comfortably Numb.

The album was Meddle, and you're right, it's very under-appreciated:

I was just about to post this, a buddy of mine showed this song to me a few years back, and I loved this track.
