Yeah I think it is usually the rush between 11:30 and 12 that I seem to get caught in. It also does seem to be fairly random as to which nights have the biggest lines. Like some nights I go to see someone who I consider a 'big' DJ (ie. Derek May) and I barely wait in line, and then other times I go to see people who I have barely heard of before (ie. Edu Imbernon and Koyu) and I wait in line for 30 mins.

Its just really frustrating being only like 10 feet back in line only to see them let 3 people in, wait 5 mins, let another 3 people in, and so on.

I know there is a big rush right around that time but maybe getting a few more security guards outside to pat people down or something might be able to reduce the bottleneck a bit.

Dear m. club owner,

Could you please devise a system where no busboys will have to walk thru the dance floor with disgusting half empty beer bottles and glasses spilling over us your dear clients? Could you at least get the message across that getting pushed around by them busboys is not cool, at least could you tell them to lay off the speed?

I seem to recall you being firmly on the side of customer service when it came to the issue of bags and bagging at supermarkets. So how is this any different? It's not an issue of legal obligation, just like clubs aren't legally required to clean their bathrooms. It's simply a (good) suggestion for club owners to follow, something that will make for a much better experience for party-goers.

I swear, almost everybody who works in or near the club industry is jaded and pompous to the point of parody. Any and every complaint is shot down with "if you don't like it, don't go."

Please hire more managers, promoters, and other staff who understand the meaning of the words "customer service", and not just while on the receiving end.

Or at least take a page from the Dilbert book and pretend to be giving us service. It's slightly less offensive than simply telling us off.

the difference here is that clubs arent MANDATED to charge for earplugs as opposed to the bag law where they are forced to charge. If grocery stores want to charge a nickle for a bag then so be it... but im against that being a LAW. Big difference.

While there is always room for improvement. I think a lot of clubs in toronto are already world class and already go over the top for customers. ESPECIALLY based on the average price points for cover and drinks. We are a pretty economical city to party in considering what we get here!

Some of the bus boys/girls can be really pushy. I was talking to Knox when he got hit in the head with a bucket a bus girl was carrying. She didn't even acknowledge the fact that she hit him and nearly hit Ian if he didn't move in enough time.

I get they're trying to do their job...but you don't have to be so damn pushy!

And that's it. Stop right there. There's always room for improvement, so improve. Don't compare, don't make excuses. Listen to your customers and consider implementing some of their suggestions especially if they are easy to do and cost you next to nothing.
