what a long ass weekend... i probably heard like 20 million beats until i finally threw in the towel. saturday night i think i got inside around 11:30(ish?) and rooz was doing pretty good. not his most outrageous opening set (that would be lee @ vessel), but dope enough that i never really left the dance floor until after he finished. his hand off to danny was solid, but danny brought it down a bit, or so it seemed, until lee arrived. i was getting antsy. when lee popped his head into the booth, the rest of the night was a serious blur. i remember running into a ton of people i usually never see at 1015, chatting it up a little, then catching the faint sound of epicness building in the background, and reemerging from the vortex somewhere else. this happened to me all night and then all of a sudden the fucking night is over and the club is closed--wtf. that pretty much describes my whole weekend. when i left 1015, it was already well into morning. i haven't done that in yearsss. i don't remember what happened next, but i think there was a hotel and then we ended up at 222 hyde for lee's afterhour set. holyshitfuckassballsleeburridge!$@#%!$@#RAEGLKEAZSE%#ra3$ that little dungeon party was bat shit insane! down the stairs you could have sworn it was peak hour at some crazy underground party, except it was sunday afternoon on hyde street (and yet the club was packed). so bizarre taking cig breaks out front or ordering at the bar and going back in. we didn't leave that joint until 2:30 and it was still goin off! why did we even leave??? oh right my dumb ass thought it'd be the best idea ever to jump into the pool at the hotel anyway, that was sick... 1015-- best music i've heard there since 16 bit lolitas' afterhours set in the main room. 222-- best music i've heard there EVER. ever...
