I know right? The whole time it was like a task to try to pin point the leads in Giuseppe's set as well as John's because, like you said, all the system was just BOOM BADA BOOM BADA BOOM.

I remember when Miss You was mixing in, I was like "SICK, I get to hear the sick rumbling bassline"...AND THEN? No rumble , just sub.

Near the end of Armin's set on Day 2, the Stage right mid channel kept going in and out. It was either a lose connection, or the amp/speakers were blown.

It sucked for the rest of the guys.

Roseland's system is usually very good. I was surprised they were having issues.

I was also bummed there was not a lazer since every PvD show there has had an insane lazer show. I really like the insane rave feel lazers can add to a show. I caught the beg of Lange's set and stayed through Armin. Highlights of the night were Lange playing 'Under Pressure' and 'Happiness Happening', Giuseppe playing 'We Are One' , 'Our Dimension', and 'Out Of The Blue 2010', and finally Armin playing His 'Faithless Remix', 'PvD - NY City' and ending with 'Solar Stone - Seven Cities' (which I requested and I'm sure other people did too).

Damn blast from the past! How you been Alex?

Such an awesome weekend. Most fun I've had out since the Electric Zoo. I also wish these events would happen more often! And I happen to like Roseland - it's a great open space and ventilation is never really an issue, never a wait for bathrooms, bar, or coatcheck, even the line in front at its longest isn't very long. Day 2 was a lot better IMO. I really liked Armin's set better on Sat.. Control Freak into New York City (Super8 & Tab) WOW.

- Marcello, you killed it - Tonight Is Forever is my favorite song of all time and hearing it on Fri for ASOT was so awesome hope only good things to come.

- Burak nice to see you too - How awesome was Armins set on Sat? lol

There was always a wait for the women's bathrooms---at least 50 to 100 girls deep everytime I went....absolutely ridiculous! BUT, it was still one of the best parties I've ever been to(keep in mind, I live in Charlotte). =)

ugh, so mad i missed some seemingly GREAT sets this weekend. such as cerf & mitiska. flashback vs. saved again - win!, along with beltek - we weren't born to die and other awesome tracks.

missed marcello's set because we were all too blasted to walk there on time.

armins day 1 set was . re:locate - rogue! and some awesome tracks from him day 2 such as dustin zahn's stranger to instability (len faki podium mix); control freak, but honestly i enjoyed day 1 a ton more.

im still braindead though.

I did see a line for the woman's bathroom but I believe the one upstairs on the second floor never had a wait

I never knew of the bathrooms upstairs until the 2nd night when they closed the bathrooms downstairs---someone flooded the toilets I heard. I also thought the upstairs was VIP---wish I had known about it the first night...the 2nd night was so much better being upstairs =)

yeah being upstairs was pretty awesome. I was also under the impression it was VIP but I'm not even really sure how Roseland works lol. They would control the people who they would let go upstairs and have people posted at the end of every hallway up there, probably supposed to be checking wristbands but my guess is they didn't give a shit haha

upstairs is vip but only right along the balacony edges looking over the floor. The rest of it is free roam to the public....Upstairs is always the best place. Has the most room and the sound is great up there since the speakers are basically in your face when hanging from the ceiling. The wait at the bar is always at a minimum compare to downstairs. They were only allowing certain people up on saturday because of the whole bathroom situation since it was so packed.

DJ Lange!!!!

we NEED to get this man to NYC to play on his own night!! wow.

On that note, the whole night #2 was bangin!! No complaints about any DJ!

Just like others said, the sound was HORRIFIC. WHAT THE F*CK!!! how can you have an event that massive and not have the SOUND working? isnt that the most important thing? Never heard it that bad in Roseland. Couldnt even tell that "Out of the Blue" was one for like the first solid 60 seconds because you couldnt hear it from where I was standing. WACK. Huge shame.

On a lighter note, met amazing new people, saw friends that I havent seen in so long, HILARIOUS moments all around: the night was just a huge success. I am REALLY glad because I chose to skip Bal en Blanc to catch ASOT, as I figured it would probably never happen again. I would have been at home crying if ASOT was lame......
