If you're so sure you can do it properly, I'd like to see you make one and share it with us.
Please don't take this as a sarcastic remark. I haven't really been a fan of the series for quite some time so I'd like to see something that is more in line with what I feel the series should sound like with updated tunes. If you're up for it, I'd love to hear it - seriously.
If you do decide to make one, PM me or post a link to it in here. I'm not in the dj promotion section often enough to be sure that I catch it.

I think I might like it better than ISOS 7.

To be honest, I think it's not that bad.
Yeah there are a few head scratchers for sure (kiss of life being one)
but overall it's not bad to hear ISOS finally coming from someone other than Tijs....
for me the worst problem is that being trance a genre with a lot of very different subengres all the tracks are very similar, he could have picked some uplifting tracks , some tech trance at the middle of the set to add variety.
Well in my opinion he tryed to follow Tiësto, ISOS series are relaxing but this is maybe too much for me

I just googled to find this thread (TA search blows)
anyway.
I got around to listening to this. It's actually decent. A lot better then what I was expecting. Both CD's have some nice gems in there. Overall a good flow and very ISOS feel to it.

Since you registered in 2003 I'll actually take your opinion on face value. I'll download it and give it a listen.

Isos 4-7 have some good tracks on it, but the albums are nothing special for me. Maybe it was better if Tiesto made single cd's instead of double-albums.
(BTW: I just listenend isos 8, but that's also an average mix )
Amen.

Anyway ISOS 3 was the best part. The tracklist is the best from all of the ISOS' and the atmosphere is amazing.

Just do your own. I made a Magik 8. Even though Magik 7 was pretty much the only one I liked...

I always rated the selection on 2, but the mixing in parts was so damn sloppy I couldn't get into it. 1 and 3 were great though.
