So, unless he comes up with something completely different, I don't think he's going to get a warm reception. I'm in no way dissing him, just pointing out something.
First you say that a detroit Dj A&R of a very influential record label does not fit in a detroit electronic music festival because of his (god forbid) trance selection (don't see much trance there where the fuck did you pull that out of?) then you say that it is ok for these UK house and jungle people to spin at a Detroit festival because the hipster club in the UK books them too and then you predict that this Detroit Dj's set wont go down well in Detroit posting from fucking Guatemala!
Oh do fuck off you cretin.

hehehe... this is fun.
First, half of that tracklist is House/Tech-house/Techno. (Butch, Mihalis Safras, Michael Woods, Hiroki Esashika, Sergio Fernandez...) Keep in mind, this is just a normal radio show for me. Not saying im a "tech-house" dj. Im a dj who plays music i deem good. Genre aside, i could careless what someone labels something, if its good and it fits my sound, i play it. end of story.
Now, not really worried about the "reception" I will receive:
2008 seemed to go over ok

It was much more house and tech influenced than what I expected from him.
Only song that came close to his older sound was the PrinsJan & Dennis Ruyer remix of My Lexicon but that was his last song.
Cool to hear Villalobos is coming back at least.
Yup, you are correct, since Paul Harris was headlining, I pulled more from my deeper selection. Lots of minimalistic house, stripped back tribal and house. Honestly, even though the original of My Lexicon is progressive, that new remix is very housey. Great record too, so much groove.

Also, am I the only one who thinks that Kenneth Thomas (Oakenfold's most recent "protege") looks really out of place on the lineup?
