I might not know a lot about Evolution, I agree. But this was a 7th grade Science teacher that told me this not my own idea. The ideology of what he was trying to say is that you can mutate your body but it takes massive generations to keep up with the same ideology. If a person rubber banded two of their fingers together and it followed from generation to generation, maybe 150 generations or posssible 1,000 generations, the body would no longer see a function for this extra finger because it moves as one with the other finger that it is rubber banded to. It was just an idea told to me that I considered possible.
But the human body construct might be so strong by now that it is quite possible that it would never happen.
You also have to understand in evolution that if evolution was a calander starting on Jan. 1st ... Humans arived on this planet Dec. 31st a minute before the next Jan. 1st.
