I would love it were possible for him to go back to the four hour format he had when he was on the radio in Miami.

Mainly because I miss the 1st hour being the latest new tunes he picked up or were sent in -- I think a lot of amazing tunes were exposed this way back then that might've never really gotten much reaction from the DJ community otherwise. He'd then have another hour of a mix by him. And the other two hours were either a two-hour guest mix, two one-hour guest mixes, or if he couldn't fill the slot more Markus (mix or recorded live set)

the guest mixes would be better at 1hr/1hr i agree. and somebody commented that they're normally a lot of recycled stuff- which i totally agree with and that makes them kind of boring. a few months back somebody did a guest mix, i can't remember who, and they mixed some track 'so far so good' into 'who's afraid of detroit' and that totally caught me off guard - i loved it haha.

he does the 30 min guest mixes because ratings really dropped if it was 1 hr guest mix. now were forced to listen so we can get the last 30 min of markus, which also includes the global selection winner.

I pretty sure his kid has his own aspirations. And Markus has the PR of David Lewis, Coldharbour, Armada etc behind him. Sure he doesn't need his son working TA forums night and day. I've never seen Markus do aerobics before he goes on but so what if he wants to pump himself up and get the blood flowing? Some DJs do a fat bump, Markus exercises lol.

i didn't realize that many people turned it off after an hour especially with ASOT immediately after

To his defense, Trump didn't even really look like a bum.

Not sure about before he plays, but I remember reading that he would work out to get in better shape to last through his extended sets.

I'm definitely down with 1 hour 1 hour, 30 min in the middle of a set then 30 min back with markus is weeeak. if anything, 1.5 hr markus then 30 min at the end.

but like everyone - 2 hours with the man is what I'm really after!!!
