It is if you have been going for some time and want them to change it up. WMC/Ultra week fail when it comes to new talent. The record label event organizers are nervous and go with more known acts - when they can easily go risky since most show for the main name. So having the same Cosmic Gate, Josh Gabriel, Kyau and Albert, Super 8 and Tab, etc. for this events is weak. This is the REAL chance to showcase a record label. Go with the Armin for ASOT and Above and Beyond for ANJUNA, but then go with the producers who arents as known. People will still show. Was hoping the exclusivity at Ultra would help but that so far appears to have done nothing. Not complaining, just was hoping they would change things up for the real fans out there who were expecting names that we have yet to see in the states or those who dont tour as often. |
This is actually my first time going. But I have been listening to the broadcast from the previous ones going back 7-8 years. I have attended numerous parties big and small in NY, DC and Atlantic City.
Not Electric Zoo... But I've never been to a huge party like this and Definitely excited about seeing all the top DJs. Isn't it the point of going ? i am going to the Above & Beyond party at the Ice Palace the day before, but then it's definitely Ultra and running around the tents trying to catch the sets of the DJs THAT I AM GOING THERE FOR Sure I would love to see more DJs who haven't been tho the US but I'll take with what I can get.... you will not change my mood... This will be a good time
